  1. I am the Lord your God: you shall not have strange gods before me.
  2. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
  3. Remember to keep holy the Lord's Day.
  4. Honor your father and your mother.
  5. You shall not kill.
  6. You shall not commit adultery.
  7. You shall not steal.
  8. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
  9. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife.
  10. You shall not covet your neighbor's goods.
Notice the difference? The 4th Commandment is omitted referring to graven images and the 10 Commandment is split in two, making the Catholic 9th & 10th Commandment.

Welcome to CC, Jackie…
What you presented is only one of many reasons why I (among many) no longer consider Roman Catholicism ‘Christian’.

What is your source for this list? When you say "Catholic 10-commandments," to what are you referring. Is there an official Catholic website where the list is posted? Is it from the Vulgate? What?

Roman Catholicism is the largest sect of Christianity.

It's just not all Christian are catholics

Like not all Christians are protestants.

Or not all Christians are SDA

Or Not Christians are latter day saints.

Or not all Christians are believers of the Trinitarian doctrine of God being 3 persons.

Which ever way you Go none denominational Christians really are denominational, for the main part, its a branch of the protestant faith which stems from Anglicism pentecostalism Lutheranism, which are branches that emerged from Roman Catholicism.

The lord said there will come a day when many will abandon there faith and there love will grow cold.

The lord also tells us many people will say thank God I'm not like that man.

These are the first several verses of Exodus 20, from the New Catholic Bible (NCB) translation.... seems like it's there, to me...

The Ten Commandments.[a] 1 God spoke all these words:

2 “I am the Lord, your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of that place of slavery. 3 You shall not have other gods instead of me. 4 You shall not make idols or any image of things that are in the heavens above or that are upon the earth or that are in the waters under the earth. 5 You shall not bow before them nor shall you serve them. I, the Lord, am your God, a jealous God, who punishes the sins of fathers upon their sons until the third and fourth generations of those who hate me, 6 but I will show my favor for a thousand generations of those who love me and observe my commandments.

I must confess, I am truly non/denominational. Having heard the Messiah say it teach it, I am become a child of Abraham, that is of the faith of Abraham.

Jesus Yeshua came to add that other Flock to His original Flock, that being Israel. Come New Jerusalem, all will understand this.

I do but someone of a denomination would also consider this a denomination maybe a Abrahamism

The sudy and teaching is from the teachings of Jesus only. No external doctrine added in my heart, I believe. All will be scattered as I believe I am, but we will always love God the Father firstly, and in so doing love each other and our enemies

I found a 1610 edition of the Douay-Rheims Bible and it has it. This link should go right to it, but if it doesn't it's on p. 215.

I've heard this a lot but never have been able to locate a primary source. When you look up Catholic answers to it they just dodge and start talking about how Catholics don't worship graven images.

Yes.... the same way they say they don't pray to Mary, but more through her... there are many ways they "dance a little sidestep" on these issues....

Romans 12:10 says, “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.” Contrary to most competitions, this game is won by lifting others up, not ourselves. Our goal is to help others be successful.

The reality is tho friend none denominational churches all around the world, any there are many going under different names, are still using the bible with 66 books, which as you know is a general ruling for most denominations.

Of course a none denominational church would argue our church isn't about how many books are in our bible.

depends on how you view this picture
the Temple Mount the wailing Wall is the holiest place where Jews are permitted to pray outside the previous Temple Mount platform, as the presumed site of the Holy of Holies, the most sacred site in the Jewish faith, lies just behind it.

The Catholic view Mary as the temple for Jesus and purely symbolic. Just like the Jews.
