I'm researching the teachings of F.F. Bosworth and his book “Christ the Healer”

He basically teaches that divine healing is a promise of God so God's answer to healing is always yes and amen to the promises of Christ.

But I find this contradicting. Not that in Christ we do not see physical healing but to say it is always God's will doesn't take into account other scriptures.
Don't know anything about this Man's teachings on Healing but ----but When One receives Christ if you look up the Word Sozo ---it says this

sózó: to save
Original Word: σῴζω
Part of Speech: Verb
Transliteration: sózó
Phonetic Spelling: (sode'-zo)
Definition: to save
Usage: I save, heal, preserve, rescue.

Strong's Exhaustive Concordance
heal, be made whole.

From a primary sos (contraction for obsolete saos, "safe"); to save, i.e. Deliver or protect (literally or figuratively) -- heal, preserve, save (self), do well, be (make) whole.

universally, τινα, one (from injury or peril); to save a suffering one (from perishing), e. g. one suffering from disease, to make well, heal, restore to health: Matthew 9:22; Mark 5:34; Mark 10:52; Luke 7:50 (others understand this as including spiritual healing

Jesus took all sickness and disease with Him on the Cross -------according to scripture -----

Matthew 8:17 New Living Translation (NLT)
This fulfilled the word of the Lord through the prophet Isaiah, who said, “He took our sicknesses and removed our diseases.

Do we believe this or not ----

there was a story that some kids became extremely noisy when they lost there rattle.
But thankfully they found them.

But there was one kid who escaped and learnt how to become a debunker, from copying others,

The combination was gasly.

The only way you could ever get an answer from him was to Become a debunker your self

Is that all Faith is a belief ??????
Think of belief in degrees.

As someone who works with metal and all materials, I have absolutely 💯 percent confidence in my final product made.

You, on the other hand, might have NO CONFIDENCE in what I made.

But let's say you do have some.

You take a step and put 1 foot on it.

Seems sturdy enough you put both feet on it and now standing on it.

Eventually, you don't think and just walk across it believing it will never break when you are on it.

That is how we build Faith.

Belief in something small.
GOD answers.

So next trial you believe a little more than before.
GOD answers.

The next trial is even more difficult but you believe more than ever before.
GOD answers.

Now, you just believe, your Faith is to the point you just know GOD is able to do it!

Trial and Error is the Formula for Success!!

I think you need to do some research on what God's faith really is -----

Faith is a substance in God's Kingdom -----anyone can believe in God ----do you know what this word substance means in the Scripture ??????

can you attempt to deceive me any more?

Faith is the substance of things
hoped for ...................
and the evidence .......................
of things not seen

i don't see the miracle but i believe it will happen because my Faith is in Jesus Christ!

must irritate the cessasionist to see God working today!
how difficult is it to keep denying it is God?
it eerily reminds me of the Jews, denying Jesus, as their Messiah!

If anyone should have been healed, it was the apostle Paul with his physical disability. He prayed for healing three times, yet God would not heal him, but gave him grace to bear the disability instead. Then we have Timothy, who was asked to use wine for his stomach ailments. Paul could have healed him, since Paul had the gift of healing miracles. So healing is not guaranteed to believers, even though during the earthly ministry of Christ, not one person was turned down.
Indeed. Well spoken.

i don't see the miracle but i believe it will happen because my Faith is in Jesus Christ![/QUOTE]

Great Stuff ---it is not our Faith but our Faith in Jesus to heal us ------Jesus is the Healer -----our Faith in Jesus is the title deed to our healing -------

Greek word for Substance ----Faith is your guarantee --------that your Hope of healing will manifest itself in your life -----

HELPS Word-studies
5287 hypóstasis(from 5259 /hypó, "under" and 2476 /hístēmi, "to stand") – properly, (to possess) standing under a guaranteed agreement ("title-deed"); (figuratively) "title" to a promise or property, i.e. a legitimate claim (because it literally is, "under a legal-standing") – entitling someone to what is guaranteed under the particular agreement.
that which has foundation, is firm; hence, thatwhich has actual existence; a substance, real being:

I say -----There is much more to healing thought ------first you need to follow the guide lines for answered prayer ------your praying for healing -----so you need to follow the protocol for getting your prayer answered ---------Jesus lays out in scripture as to how to get answered prayer -----

Nevertheless, God has also laid out principles for prayer in His Word. Requirements that scripture gives us for approaching God in prayer in a way that will bring answers.

https://www.westsidebiblechapel.ca/1_3_207_8-basic-requirements-for-answered-prayer.html

Conditions for Getting Your Prayers Answered

Here are 8 basic requirements for getting answers to every prayer and the scriptures that support them.

1. Approach God with deep submission

The life of Jesus on earth teaches us about prayer as we see how He did it. In Hebrews 5:7, Jesus prayers were heard because he approached God with god fear or reverent submission.

when He (Jesus) had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear.

In Matthew 26: 39, Jesus submits his prayer to Gods will. By this, we understand that prayer is not a way to get our way with God but to submit to His will.

2. Have faith

One unchanging factor about approaching God is you must have faith (believe). We must believe that God will hear us as we go before Him in prayer.

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6)
All things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive (Matthew 21:22)

3. Go with boldness and confidence

Scripture also encourages us to go before God boldly. With confidence and without condemnation.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16)
Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus…( Hebrews 10:19)
We also need to be free from condemnation.

If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear (Psalms 66:18)
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water (Hebrews 10:22)

4. Pray in Jesus Name

Scripture tells us to pray in the name of Jesus. When we approach God in the name of Jesus, we are going before Him on the basis of what Jesus has done for us through the cross.

If you ask anything in My name, I will do it (John 14:14)
Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full (John 16:23-24)

5. Have the right motive

God is concerned as to why we want the things we ask for in prayer. So, we must approach him without self-centeredness. The right motive for prayer is for it to bring thanks giving to God bring glory to His name.

For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7)
You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures (James 4:3)
And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. (John 14:13)

6. Forgive those who have done you wrong

This is another important condition to receiving answer to prayer. First of all, God forgives us because we forgive others as demonstrated in the Lord ’s Prayer.

Jesus also said that we are to forgive if we have anything against someone when we pray.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors (Matthew 6:12)
And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses (Mark 11:25)

7. Ask according to God's Word

By praying according to God’s Word, you know that God will answer what you ask for because you are praying His Will. God’s will is revealed in His Word.

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him (1 John 5:14-15)
8. Be directed by the Holy Spirit

We are to be led and rely on the Holy Spirit to pray effectively. The Spirit of God helps in our prayer weaknesses and takes over to make intercession through us according to God’s will.

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God (Romans 8:26-27)
So, always ask and depend the help of the Holy Spirit when approaching God in prayer.

my guess, is you are DEAD now, which means you are with Jesus. but it also means, you had no Faith at all, nor knew how to put it into action when in need.

you are sitting at a railroad crossing
train comes off the tracks and begins to roll over while plowing right toward you.
do you have time to put all 8 of these into place before saying, In Jesus Name, train Stop...and believe it will Stop?
Hopefully before you leave the house you get on your knees and pray for a safe trip and ask God to protect your vehicle as you travel -and keep the protocol for answered prayer so your sure your prayer has been answered ----no good praying when the train is on it;s way to you -----it is to late ----your toast ----

Jesus always said it was the person who came for healing their Faith alone is what healed them.

If someone today wants healing but has no Faith, no matter if I believe God will heal them, they will never be healed.

100% of failed healing began with no Faith to begin with.
Not actually true. While a few were due to the faith of those who brought the request or like the the man brought in by the roof where Jesus said by the faith of your friends you are healed. Also in Acts 3 Peter and John heal a lame begger who didn't even expect healing. He was expecting a coin.

In these emergency instances I believe the only word required or the word you may have time to utter or maybe even think is simply “Jesus “ and have faith he heard you on impact. Because we have a compassionate God who wants to listen to those who cry out His name in their desperation or agony. Weather you physically survive or get ushered into heaven , well that’s in His hands not in the person praying.

Paul was afflicted with a thorn in his side from Satan ---God allowed Satan to do this to Paul to keep Paul from conceit -----

Paul’s visions and revelations from the Lord

12 It is necessary to brag, not that it does any good. I’ll move on to visions and revelations from the Lord. 2 I know a man in Christ who was caught up into the third heaven fourteen years ago. I don’t know whether it was in the body or out of the body. God knows. 3-4 I know that this man was caught up into paradise and that he heard unspeakable words that were things no one is allowed to repeat. I don’t know whether it was in the body or apart from the body. God knows. 5 I’ll brag about this man, but I won’t brag about myself, except to brag about my weaknesses.

6 If I did want to brag, I wouldn’t make a fool of myself because I’d tell the truth. I’m holding back from bragging so that no one will give me any more credit than what anyone sees or hears about me. 7 I was given a thorn in my body because of the outstanding revelations I’ve received so that I wouldn’t be conceited. It’s a messenger from Satan sent to torment me so that I wouldn’t be conceited.
8 I pleaded with the Lord three times for it to leave me alone. 9 He said to me, “My grace is enough for you, because power is made perfect in weakness.” So I’ll gladly spend my time bragging about my weaknesses so that Christ’s power can rest on me. 10 Therefore, I’m all right with weaknesses, insults, disasters, harassments, and stressful situations for the sake of Christ, because when I’m weak, then I’m strong.

Yes but He also conquered death and sin which with the same logic we should be claiming eternal life and sin-less perfection for today.

So with balance we see the gift of healing in scripture a handful of names who did not get supernaturally healed and had sometime of physical ailment.

Other scriptures state some are sick to bring God glory.

Others are told they must suffer for Christ and ultimately martyred. That doesn't sit well with the Amercanized prosperity Gospel.

the Holy Spirit led Peter. this is merely a demonstration that God was working with the Disciples even after Jesus ascended.
