There might indeed be cataclysmic celestial events during the trib, but the "stars" falling from heaven could be angels, too. Either way, the earth does not have to be flat for the stars to fall.
Does the Bible support the idea of a spinning ball earth flying through space, or is that a Satanic, Masonic lie?

If the stars are stuck to the firmament (dome) over the flat earth, I suppose it's possible.
For the moment - forget about Flat Earth. My point-of-the-moment is about the stars falling from heaven and believing what the Bible actually says.
You may certainly entertain the suggestion that John - while seeing a vision - saw something that he thought was a star - and, therefore, wrote 'star'.
(Albeit, scripture itself completely invalidates that suggestion.)
However, you cannot properly apply this thought process to the statement Jesus made in the Olivet Discourse.
When Jesus said 'stars' - He meant real actual 'stars'.
Jesus said that stars shall fall from heaven. Real actual stars.
The very things we see twinkle up in the night sky - whether angels or not - will one day fall from heaven to the earth. Because, Jesus said so.
There is no "something that He thought was a star" in His statement. He was/is stating a fact.
He is speaking of real actual stars falling from heaven to the earth.
Let that sink in a while...
What Moses is trying to get you to see is that the assertions of NASA are utterly devoid of evidence.
One could say it is merely decreation language that generally accompanies times of judgment. He also said He saw Satan fall like lightening from heaven. Did Satan actually look like lightening?
Whether he did or not, the fact remains that Satan fell from heaven. And, that is the undeniable literal fact of the statement.
In the Olivet Discourse, Jesus did not say that [something] that looked like a star fell from heaven - He said that stars fell from heaven. And, that is the undeniable literal fact of the statement.
You are not understanding the difference between the two examples.
He 'likened' us to sheep - establishing a 'figurative' relationship.
Within the context of that relationship - yes, I am a sheep.
(And, within a context where He called me a sheep.)
This is a good example of what I was talking about. You are allowing all of these other ideas in your head to affect your discernment of what scripture is actually saying...
Guessing games and imaginative suggestive ideas will not lead to a proper conclusion. You need to clear all of that stuff out of your mind before you attempt to discern what scripture is actually saying.
Matthew 25 says He set the sheep on His left hand, and the goats on His right. You want to say some things are literal and some things are figurative. And you are right. But your reasoning is inconsistent. Job said in 42:5 that he saw God. Did he? Jesus commended an unjust steward. Should we? Did Jesus literally see Satan falling? Jesus said He is a door. I could go on all night.
I haven't told you what I believe. I'm merely pointing out that you are merely picking and choosing according to what fits with what you already believe.

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
The 'sun', 'moon', and 'stars' are equally literal. None of them are figurative. He is talking about the real actual 'sun', 'moon', and 'stars'.

No - that is not the case. In fact, what you suggest is the very thing that I am trying to warn others about - allowing what they already believe to interfere with their discernment of what scripture actually says.
That's one take. It's also the opposite of creation language. And when you find language like this, what is being spoken of?
If I understand your question correctly --- every place in scripture where you find that same similar wording, it is literally talking about the same exact thing - a specific 'event' in the future before the Second Coming of Christ.

But patterns are important in scripture. Where God uses similar language, He is linking ideas and events.
