most of those flat earth people are now loners and haven't spent time in a Church Building in years.

Why do you think my view of ancient peoples is that they were "dumbed down"?
Changing the subject isn't going to convince me your position is correct nor that your criticism is valid. This has nothing whatsoever to do with "wisdom", but only of scientific and technological discoveries. Did God teach the ancients about high-carbon steel? How about steam propulsion? Nuclear fission perhaps? No... not even the existence of bacteria and microbes.
