None of those are co-op. But the games I mentioned have stories too? Just so you know, I'm not interested in playing co-op to find romance. I would really just like some steady Christians to play co-op video games with. It's really been very difficult to find them.

Who brought up romance?

You might try Zandar. He's a friend of mine IRL and he likes a lot of those games. He used to play World of Warcraft and he just recently did all he could do in Final Fantasy 14. (That's why he's here on the forum so much lately... No good games to play right now.) ;)

Just pre-emptying any notions is all. I want people to know up front in case people get ideas. Honestly, there are Christians looking for romance in this forum, but I find it even harder to find Christian co-op players to team up with! I will ask Zandar. I hope and pray he's willing!

You'd better bring a good game. World of Warcraft and final fantasy XIV were both very interesting, with great dialogue. He would often quote me some of the script. And it was almost good enough to get me playing it.

The games you mentioned are subscriptions. World of Warcraft for example is $77.94 every SIX months. Took a look at Final Fantasy XIV and that's a bit pricey too - it's on sale at Steam right now, but also requires a monthly subscription as well. Understandably it's because the devs come out with new content, but that's still a lot of money to pay every one to six months. I don't play games on a consistent enough basis.

I prefer those types of co-op games you only pay for only once - even better if I could get them on sale. I don't like competing against other players. I much prefer games where you can fight together against computer enemies.

Here are the games I'd like to play co-op:
Borderlands games (1, 2, Presequel, 3)
Wonderlands game (new series)
Dysmantle
Generation Zero
Raft
Subnautica (there's a co-op mod for it)

There are others, but these are off the top of my head right now.
