I was at a Seventh Day Adventist church bible lesson and I made a sarcastic comment sayong "I dont want to go to heaven anymore, I might meet someone I know that goes to church" instead of saying something positive like "What do you mean by that?" and I could have given him a good example, he had to rub my nose into crap and say "Dont you trust God"

Howdy Eric and welcome to the forum.

Yeah I've found if you say something heavily sarcastic you just can't rely on people around you to stick to the script. No telling WHAT they'll say. It's best to just run a monologue instead of depending on them for crucial replies.

You literally bit the hand that was feeding you and now are upset that the hand didn't get you a treat?

Actions have Natural consequences.

Personally I thought he let you off very lightly. I would not have been as kind.

You're better off staying away from SDA.

*Lynx sits down suddenly, with all the rapt attention of a gambling addict who has just found the only craps game in town.

I object to that kind of advice, I found the people who go to sunday churches to be just as worse than some SDA church goers, if fact you should say "you are better to stay away from all churches, and just worship the Lord at home, everyday"

Objection noted.
