So how did Logos become flesh and dwell amongst us?
God's plan came to fruition. God miraculously caused Mary to conceive. God created within Mary what was necessary for her to conceive the human Messiah, the "second man," the "last Adam."

There are other ways to translate the verse:

[ASV] looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
[BRG] Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
[GNV] Looking for that blessed hope, and appearing of that glory of that mighty God, and of our Savior Jesus Christ.
[KJV] Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
[AKJV] looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
[TLB] looking forward to that wonderful time we’ve been expecting, when his glory shall be seen—the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
[REV] while we wait for the blessed hope and appearing of our great God and Savior’s glory—Jesus Christ,
NO, there's only the OLDEST KNOWN GREEK we translate from, not this modern day BALONEY:

we translate it like PAUL wrote it:

i will add VERSE 14 so YOU KNOW this ALL about JESUS and no one else:

13 waiting for the blessed hope, and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ,

14 who gave himself for us that he might redeem us from all iniquity

put it together how PAUL would have written it:
of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself

This is contradictory. :eek:
No it isn't.
IF God had a beginning, then His logos began at the same time as He did.
I do not believe God has a beginning, His logos has always been with him.

ok. No matter what, you will not be convinced. I get it.

BTW, here is what Paul wrote, or close to it:
προσδεχόμενοι τὴν μακαρίαν ἐλπίδα καὶ ἐπιφάνειαν τῆς δόξης τοῦ μεγάλου θεοῦ καὶ σωτῆρος ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ, (Tit 2:13 BGT)

Has John 1:14 taken place? If so, who is the Word made flesh?

I believe the Bible.
Which Bible?!

Was Peter a heretic?
Was Paul a heretic? Was Jesus a heretic?

I'm not dabbling in "orthodox" Christianity, but in biblical Christianity.
Nope, all of that is correct. Jesus was human and God. He became a man, died and rose again.

Yes.

Jesus Christ.

C'mon, Cameron... What are you up to? :)
You say that the Logos is God but when the Logos is made flesh it is not God. This is what I don't understand.

The 66 book Protestant Bible. I use several translations.

I am very familiar with Trinitarian beliefs.

...not according to @HeIsHere . He believes Jesus was God "cloaked in flesh."
Veiled in flesh would be the better understanding.

God's logos is His will, His plan, His purposes. It's not a sentient being separate from God, it's not a "Person" of God that's separate from the "Person" of the Father. God's logos "became flesh" when God caused Mary to conceive. God's plan to send a Messiah came into fruition, it became reality, at the conception of Jesus Christ.

Thanks for the conversation, and for putting up with me. :)

I gotcha. And thanks for taking the time to explain your understanding.

What's the difference between "cloaked in flesh" and "veiled in flesh"?
Cloaked suggests 2 separate entities. Jesus was fully man. I believe fully God as well but for the most part this is veiled. On the Mount of Transfiguration it is not veiled. Much as He appears in Revelation.
