I'm a Christian. I'm not in a cult. I've been set free. Cultists aren't free, they're trapped. As for anyone who believes Christianity is a cult, I feel sorry for you. You have neither understood the gospel nor experienced the freedom we have in Christ. Seems like a signs of the times we're in where people think the grace of Christ is a cult.
No one asked you to play a game, but you did misquote me. Denying it just makes you look pretty foolish.

Because it diminishes the holy spirit and is more about doctrine. Doctrine in itself is not bad it is by definition sound biblical teaching.

What some may call doctrine but diminishes God's spirit is exactly what a cult does.

My mom grew up with parents of such the damage is still there and she is almost 60

To have a connection to the holy spirit and operating in the gifts such people deny does more damage to people they may even like my mom stop operating in them because of it.
A cult focuses on the teaching of the cult more so than it does the God of the cult in most cults it is about sloly doctrinating them to where they lose their sense of worth and cwhen the holy spirit is dimished so is our understanding of our worth we become more reliant on the teachings and so prayer and miracles don't happen as they should
If you want to use that definition then every group that indoctrinates people into the gifts of the Holy Spirit is also a cult. You can't say one group is a cult based on their doctrine but the other isn't.

Well do you want tell them then? It is not my intention to publically shame you
No, you wouldn't want to publicly shame anyone. You'd rather just bring it up then leave it to everyone's imagination what you're talking about. LOL It would be much preferable if you spoke your mind rather that being a passive-aggressive little weasel.

I have been open from the start I told you many times before I am an open book but when it comes to you there requires a different appraoch.

God and I have been talking a lot about you and now I only feel compassion for you because I know now this persona you put on is not what is really going on.

Even with basic psycholoagy you show all the signs of one who is not doing well inside. You often times become very agitated when I say things I am told by him about you you I don't even know if I have ever even seen you speak anythingg positive your here to debate and argue you love the rise you get and with me in particular you always try to bait me into arguements and debates you become very urked when I don't respond to something you say and it isn't that I am ignoring you but there is no reasoning with you becaause you don't want to be reasoned with you want to argue there is nothing I can say that you won't somehow twist and try to make me seem like I am saying something else.

But the dryness I spoke of before I didn't realize back then it wasn't the holy spirit that the driness was it was you and not in an insulting way but as someone who needs a lot of prayer that bitterness I spoke of before reuires patience and love, the game I spoke of requires to be starved.

As long as you get the response your hoping for you are never going to be healed inside and I don't expect any good response from you that is fine you can call me a weasel that is fine but he is still calling you the phone is still ringing and I have already sent my request to Jesus for you and will be in constant prayer until he breaks through in you.

It may take months days or even until the last moment we are here but I wwill go before him on your behalf

Cult is not the correct word but I do understand where you are coming from. Christianity is no longer what it was originally meant to be Resident alien mentioned it being a sign of the end times and he was correct about that. love would wax cold that is something that even babes in Christ know is the most important thing.

If you look at how we are as a system designed we have God as our idol no Christian by mere title or heart would deny that however it has become more about being doctrinally correct denominations interpretations twisting of words and scriptures not many go out into the field anymore or go to the wilderness with him we don't seem to go outside our comfort zone much anymore either

The enemy knows better than anyone what Jesus meant when he said a kingdom divided cannot stand. You win wars not by force but by tactic you confuse plant seeds of doubt among the army suscpision then when divided as they all are divided amongst themselves in confusion that is when you know you have won before the battle even starts.

We have all this divsion all this confusion all this stuff we warned about and how many see the system we have encaged ourselves in?" Is the fruits of the enemy or God in that system? There is one truth one Body one true living God, we prove who he is not by our theoooooooooooooolgy or what denomination we abide by we prove who he is by coming together in Christ with our every motivation every thought every word every belief we have all focused on him if our eyes are not fixated solely on him then no matter what doctrine or beleif or anything we have will be the real thing you cannot look at the road in a car to your destination and look to the left or the right.

I'm guessing here....
But a "high demand" cult is what most people associate with a harmful cult.

A high demand cult is controlling over your whole life in some way. And currently I'm seeing the same high demand cult indoctrination practices being used by the LGBT community to indoctrinate children and parents into perverted lifestyles.

Typical power grab. I'm "not doing well inside." That could mean almost anything couldn't it. I'll translate: If I come around to your way of thinking I'll do a lot better. Nice try.

Hallmarks of a "high demand cult"

Appearances.
this can be everything from clothing restrictions to jewelry to tattoos and "branding" and hair grooming. (Shaved heads to elaborate styling)

Time.
A high demand cults of course wants to consume every thought in people's heads even when not at functions/activities. But your day is filled with activities expressly for the high demand cult.

Food.
A high demand cult controls you and your food choices. Low protein diets abound in "brainwashing" tactics. Some have just gone with "weight control " and strict dieting or frequent fasting. "Do not taste or eat"

Love, Family, and Shaming
Cults are successful because people are loved by the other members. You belong and are "love bombed" and accepted into the group. However shaming is a widely accepted practice and used to keep you from associating with the wrong people (including family) or into compliance with directives from the "leader". Especially useful for replacing all other relationships with anyone outside the group. Those who have left destructive cults still describe their time inside of the cults as some of the happiest times in their lives.

Finances
Because cults need money....the leaders are often very wealthy and live luxurious lifestyles....however; the average member is either too busy to earn an average income (working for free for the organization) or has given their wealth to the organization. Either way most cult members find themselves in an increasingly worse financial situation as time goes by.

A variation on this is: If you don't get healed it's your own fault for not having enough, or the right kind of, faith. Or: If you got healed but lost your healing it's your fault for basically the same reasons. Or you sinned and gave a foothold to the devil. Another is: You must've thought negative thoughts or made negative confessions with your words. This is what has brought this bad thing upon you.

I didn't include sex because not necessarily do all cults employ frivolous sexual activity. Someone like Warren Jefferds did and Others do....some seem to employ the subjugation of women into being some sort of sex/maid/slave....but not always. Of course the sex cults grab all the headlines from the salacious content....but not necessarily. Scientology hasn't made sex a priority in their cult. But they most definitely fit all other parameters.

Exactly....
It is very easy to turn Christianity into a high demand, destructive cult.

Which is why I tend to stick to the very basics when witnessing...Billy Graham was extremely successful with the bare bones basics. He didn't seem to need to speak in tongues or perform miraculous healing or anything much....just the basics with a few examples illustrating his points.
