This is an old video, but I recently came across this after watching a video of him getting tazed by police/border agents for something entirely different.

Do you agree with everything he says? What, if anything, do you disagree with? 🤔

I don't recognize him as anyone with any spiritual authority. There are a lot of reasons, but believe it or not it's his KJV onlyism that disqualifies him as far as I'm concerned.

Why do you bring it up?
I think I've heard enough homosexual propaganda in the entire month of June to make up for the entire year. There's already a debate elsewhere that I thought would be dead in two pages at most.

I'd rather read my Bible on the subject than the LGBPEDO trolls.
They ruined a whole forum that all the Christians left and turned over to them.

Oh, I wasn't aware he was a KJV onlyist. I'm assuming you're very familiar with who he is?

I can appreciation the passion he has to defend the word of God, but the part that throws me off is that I feel hate in his heart. He even admits to hating the sinner (instead of the sin). He has a point about how we shouldn't teach things that are only in-season, but that are out of season as well.

I also think the interviewer/reporter interviewing him did so in bad faith. The pastor sort of made him look really dumb in my opinion.

I mean, of course we resort to the Bible and God and pray the Holy Spirit reveals the truth to us. That is moot though. I ask because I have a lot of Christian family and friends who completely agree with him. I think he says many truthful things, but it's not completely correct. I don't know if I'm part of the majority or minority. Either way, it's up to me to find out the truth and go to the Bible and Heavenly Father for the doctrine (which was the point you were making).

Yes, I've known about him for quite some time. He does seem to put an inordinate amount of emphasis on homosexuality above all other sins; so much so, it's even in their doctrinal statement: "We believe that homosexuality is a sin and an abomination which God punishes with the death penalty." He clearly has some issues with homosexuality. Don't know why, but something is going on there.

I don't know what's in his heart, but he comes across as a know-it-all expert on everything. It's his way or the highway.

I don't agree with everything he says or anyone else on the forum for that matter.
We all have complex beliefs and opinions.
It's just tiring to walk into every store and open coupon emails from every big company attempt to have their queer agenda shoved down our throats. It's July and the LGPEDOS claimed the rainbow and twisted it, claimed the month of June twisted it, painted a giant ugly 6 bar color scheme as the backdrop of an entire building that I had to look at every day at work, etc. There's already a sick obsession and adoration with those men who commit sodomy, play with kids and the obnoxious obese loud mouth less beans.
They are implacable. They will never be satisfied with one month of praise and worship by the world. I'm tired of the constant queer baiting of this apostate society.

If you were honest, you would hear far more sins preached on than sodomy. 99% Of his sermons he doesn't even mention it.
The website mentions it because there are a lot of fake Christians and other trolls that attacked the church. They did not cave to the queer pressure of lesbian led churches and wanted to distance themselves as much as possible.

Well, like I said, KJV onlyism is the deal breaker for me.

Whoa..... there really is a true pastor out there. This is good! I can certify having read The Holy Bible multiple times thoroughly from cover-to-cover multiple times that he's not lying, indeed the Bible says what he says, he is telling the truth may God bless his zeal, PRAISE JESUS!

Look, I don’t have any problem with a Pastor preaching against homosexuality, but this man has almost zero grace. I’m sorry, I know some of you like this guy, but this is bad:

always came across as a bit of a bully to me, so seeing this ( actually saw this vid last year) was no surprise..

No, I do not agree with everything he says. The Bible does not have a commandment
against killing. The commandment is against murder. Murder is unlawful killing.
What he wants to do is unlawful.

As of 2019, Anderson has been banned from more than 30 countries, including every English-speaking
developed country other than the United States (his home country); and most English-speaking African
countries. In September 2016, after he had announced his intention to travel to South Africa, Malusi Gigaba,
the Minister for Home Affairs banned Anderson and his followers, citing the Constitution of South Africa
and stating "I have identified Steven Anderson as an undesirable person to travel to South Africa".

Anderson was also banned from entering the United Kingdom, leading him to change his travel route
to Botswana by flying via Ethiopia. On September 20, 2016, he was banned and deported from Botswana.

In a YouTube video, Anderson mentioned a planned missionary trip to Malawi to set up a church there.
But Malawian authorities subsequently made it known that he would not be welcome in the country
and that he would also be banned from entering it in the future.

Anderson was denied entry to Canada on November 10, 2017.

On January 29, 2018, Anderson was banned from entering Jamaica.

Anderson was scheduled to preach in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on May 23, 2019. The Dutch
government began looking into banning him from entering the Netherlands on April 24, leading
to the factual ban from the Netherlands, and the rest of the European Union's Schengen area on
May 1. According to the Dutch state secretary, there is "no space for discrimination or the
encouragement of hate, intolerance or violence in a democratic rechtsstaat like ours".

The Republic of Ireland banned him on May 12, 2019. On July 23, 2019, Anderson was denied
entry to Australia. On August 7, 2019, Anderson was denied entry to New Zealand.

I would not be surprised to learn he wears such things as a badge of honour... .:censored:

I'm not a member of his church.
I don't agree with everything he says, but that's true about everyone else here who's attacking him too.
You said that you were watching a video about the time he was tortured by electrocution, yet you expressed no compassion nor did you compliment his zeal for liberty in the face of stern tyranny.
Instead that says something about you Smoke. That goes for the rest of those on this page who are likewise. It's not a pretty picture. Instead Smoke, you blew the smoke of cursing a man who has been shared with more on this forum to lead them to Christ than any other single person I've seen this past year.

You were moved to bring this up for a reason and the real reason is HERE.

If Pastor Anderson was available to speak to you personally, that link is exactly what he's say.

That is what I envision the angels of God doing to him one day. Cue the fiery furnace.
Cue stmoc,

Your words also reveal something.
You are basing a person's salvation on their behavior. I'm not as perfect as you and others.
That's why I'm depending on Jesus Christ alone to get me to heaven.
Some day, perhaps a hundred years from now when you are weak, maybe you too will sin.
You might need Him Too .

Since you are not making railing accusations I'll share this interview with you. The interviewer was positive, but he asked all the hard questions. How many pastor's do you know of who have been persecuted like this for preaching to their church members?
I would be surprised if anyone has a pastor who says much of anything that would rock the boat.

Here you Go.

"11Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived."
II Timothy 3
