when a Biblical Text [kjv] compares the Power of God to a mythical creature like the UNICORN, that's when i set that Text down and move along.

thanks my strong arm in the lordyou're way too kind!
You can trust the July 5th 2023 guy if you choose. Are we at a "pot-kettle" point here?
it's faulty Greek translation of the Hebrew.thanks my strong arm in the lord
Now as for the unicorns lol is there some elements to the piercing justice of the lord to or are you seeing that from a mythological gnosticism stand point or is that an agnostic![]()
Unless, as I stated, those words don’t appear in the original text. Then the manuscripts with the words are the corrupted versions, EVEN IF those added words ‘glorify Christ’.And when you add up all the omissions/corruptions pertaining to Christ, you realize that those are serious attacks on the doctrine of Christ.
was that Greek person who translated it one of those people who was one of those half horse half man people,it's faulty Greek translation of the Hebrew.
Why are you proffering hypotheticals when by now you should already know the facts of the matter. I certainly do.Unless, as I stated, those words don’t appear in the original text. Then the manuscripts with the words are the corrupted versions, EVEN IF those added words ‘glorify Christ’.
Ah, the "I've been here longer so I'm smarter and better than you" argument. Try some humility. You might like it.You can trust the July 5th 2023 guy if you choose.
Me....I think that I am a known quantity by now.
And just to let you know, preaching the end-times I am. Day in, day out, everywhere that I go. Literally face to face with total strangers. And facing the persecutions that comes with it just like the prophets of old.
The matter of the second death and the rescue available in Christ Jesus is what we are commanded to preach. That should help you out with where I am coming from and whether I am legit or not.
Mat 5:11
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Mat 5:12
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
"Try some" urgent preaching out there in this lost world. If you have the backbone and stomach for it."Try some" humility. You might like it.
BTW, you either believe this or you do not. There is no fooling the Omniscient God Jesus Christ.Ah, the "I've been here longer so I'm smarter and better than you" argument. Try some humility. You might like it.
You can make the claim but you must prove that the ESV scholars are a fraud for that to hold any weight.Fine. But bear in mind, in this day and age, sanctified called and faithful "scholars" are rarer than hens teeth.
Seminaries today are filled to the brim with abject unbelieving "scholars" who do not know Jesus Christ nor understand what He is saying. Not even a little bit. Most think the whole Bible thing is just a fraud and/or an aggregation of quaint platitudes, life lessons, fake history and cruel jokes. So-called Modernism abounds.
it goes far deeper than this.. but yes, amen..You can make the claim but you must prove that the ESV scholars are a fraud for that to hold any weight.
Also many of the Biblical archeologists are Jews and not Christians. Does that automatically mean their research on an item is fraudulent?
Or is this quote fraudulent?
"With respect to Jesus, we have numerous, independent accounts of his life in the sources lying behind the Gospels (and the writings of Paul) - sources that originated in Jesus' native tongue Aramaic and that can be dated to within just a year or two of his life (before the religion moved to convert pagans in droves). Historical sources like that are pretty astounding for an ancient figure of any kind. [...] the claim that Jesus was simply made up falters on every ground." — Bart Ehrman is an agnostic scholar whose writings frequently attack Christianity and its truth claims.
My point is, you have to examine the facts. If a translated word doesn't fit the original Hebrew or Greek then it should be changed.
For example if a word is gender neutral then it would be less accurate to use men or man for gender-neutral words.
This is a topic that requires vast quantities of due diligence. Far too great a volume for a mere message board. You can make the claim but you must prove that the ESV scholars are a fraud for that to hold any weight.

I'm a panmillennialist. I figure it'll all pan out in the end. I've done my share of teaching. That's not what I'm here for. I have yet to see you add any value, so once again, you should be looking inward before looking outward."Try some" urgent preaching out there in this lost world. If you have the backbone and stomach for it.
And if you will not or cannot do that, then maybe exert yourself in producing some "value added" exhortations and teaching (with Scripture to back it up) in this chatroom.
"Unicorn" in the KJV likely refers to the animal we know today as the rhino... Linnean name "Rhinoceros unicornis".when a Biblical Text [kjv] compares the Power of God to a mythical creature like the UNICORN, that's when i set that Text down and move along.
And there we have it. Your inputs (or the lack thereof) all make sense now.I'm a panmillennialist.
Because many people don't know the facts. Why are you proffering hypotheticals when by now you should already know the facts of the matter. I certainly do.
@HeIsHere: You have revealed your hand. You have no integrity when you applaud Neh6 for his insults and give me the glum face for calling him on it. The same judgement is given those applauding wrongdoing as those committing it (see Romans 1:32).You insult me? Bring it on. You will be judged… and your words will only reflect on you.
