Conspiracy theorists have been claiming their absolute dominance in possessing truth lately. They might be right again.

You can't spend as many days on the bridge of a ship as I have, and not know that the earth is a sphere.

Yes, I was 3-1/2 years on a warship. Does not impress the FE brigade.

So what? More "proof" of ball-Earth by seeing it on a television? NASA have been lying this way since the 60s. If Earth were a ball, we'd be able to measure the curvature. That we can't is telling.

Exactly. The Lamestream has been forced to admit in recent times that we have been right about pretty much everything (and/or where they still haven't, their lies conflict with direct, publicly-available evidence of the opposite). The Earth being flat is just another string to our bow.

Why am I not surprised by your ridiculous assertions? The curve of the earth is measurable and visible. it was calculated around 300 BC. You need to catch up. It's not the stone age anymore. By the way, Virgin Galactic is not NASA.

NASA has kinda lost its credibility by lying - the issue has only snowballed over the past few decades, and now a large section of the population don't believe them. Isn't the invention of a new organisation using the same methodology of lying the easiest and most obvious alternative for them? Afterall, they had all that taxpayer money, and all they ever produced was a few rockets that went nowhere, and a handful of obviously fraudulent videos. How simple to create, purchase or otherwise hire other organisations that many folk won't associate with the first?

Your reference to Eratosthenes allegedly "proving" the Earth is flat has been addressed many times before, but I post below for the convenience of the casual reader. In short, you cannot prove something by relying on the assumption that it is true.

"The problem with this (as a proof of ball-Earth) [i.e. Eratosthenes' "proof"] is that the result is similar whether Earth is a sphere or flat. Flat Earthers simply respond that of course the angle of the sun is different at different places, because of trigonometry. To demonstrate this, simply place two upright blocks on a table about 1 meter apart and hold a torch overhead the first upright block. The shadow created by the first block will be almost non-existant [sic], dependent on how well the torch is held overhead, whilst the shadow created by the second block will be more pronounced. This doesn't mean the table is curved - it means trignometry [sic] results in different shadows dependent on the position of the blocks and the torch.

(It may have been that Eratosthenes assumed a large sun and a large distance between it and Earth for his "proof". However, these are Heliocentric assumptions, and it's circular reasoning to claim to prove a theory with the very theory one is trying to prove. Flat Earthers typically believe the sun is much smaller and closer than Heliocentrists. This is consistent with observation, which shows the sun's rays approach Earth at different angles, rather than all at the same angle as would be consistent with an [almost] infinitely large sun at an [almost] infinite distance)."

I don't care how much you stamp your feet, you will not make the earth flat.

So why you are against NASA alone. You forgot the russians, the Chinesen, the european, the indian. They all send people in the space with the same result. Earth is like a Ball, maby not so nice round as a ball. But for shure it is not flat.

Lol. I don't need to - it's flat already. :)

Meh. We've been through this before. The governments of the world work together. If covid didn't show you that, I don't think you'll be able to progress to even slightly more complicated subjects.

In fact Concorde was giving passengers a view of the curvature of earth for years; in a TV documentary the pilot announced at almost 60,000 feet- "If you glance at the horizon you'll be able to see the curvature of mother earth."..:)
The crews of the high-flying Blackbird and U-2 could also see it, but normal airliners fly lower and it's more difficult to see-

The problem is that flat earth believer believe that even ISS is fake.
This people is not to help. Their mind is closed for everything what is against their view.

Yes but I think many flat-earthers themselves are just jokers and don't really believe in a flat earth, they just like triggering people..:)

Here's one of your own Heliocentrists (Neil deGrasse Tyson) admitting you can't see the curvature of Earth at 128,000 feet. It kinda shoots down the argument that those on Concorde (which conveniently no longer flies, and hasn't for decades) managed to see the curvature at ~60,000 feet.

Tyson is only shooting himself down..:)
I googled him to see if he's a Christian and this is what he said about himself-
WIKI- "..if I find a word that came closest, it would be 'agnostic' .."
Poor guy, he'll therefore believe in any nonsense because demons find plenty of vacant rooms in empty heads-
Jesus said- "When an evil spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it.
Then it says, 'I will return to the house I left.'
When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order.

Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there."- Matt 12:43-45

But you surely acknowledge that some Heliocentrists don't believe you can see curvature from 128,000 feet? And therefore, your claim about some Concorde passengers observing curvature from the plane is questionable at best.

The best is, we both let us shoot to the moon. Then we can land there. And we also can see the earth is flat or not. 😀

It's not "my" claim, it's the claim of all Concorde crew, passengers, and Blackbird and U-2 crews, astronauts, and now even space tourists can see the curvature too, surely they can't all be mistaken?..:)
