No...that doesn't mean sex.
Marriage is primarily for intimacy with another person and for the two to be united in purpose so much so that talking to one is like talking to the other. United you are more than the sum of your parts.

This means sharing EVERYTHING with the other person....goals, dreams, fears, wants, dislikes, loves....everything. Of course you share your body with the other person...with passion and relish.

Quit buying into this worldly message about things being sex driven. It's the tail wagging the dog.

My wife is a different person than I am...there are differences between us but none that matter. She has her strengths and I have mine. But hers are mine and mine are hers. We use them effectively in coordination to absolutely dominate any situation we feel the need to....especially when it comes time for worshipping God in some fashion.
"Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. " 1 Corinthians 7:5 Some people have a stronger sex drive than others. Know this before you get married.

I took you back to the beginning and showed you what the original purpose was. I also reminded you that all things exist to glorify God. Making anything about mankind usurps its original design. Everything begins and ends with the glory of God. When this is so, our highest good is achieved.
You keep ignoring the point of what Jesus and Paul said was the purpose of marriage. To control the sex drive.

I'm not ignoring it. That God is merciful and allows for the weakness of the flesh is in the same vein as allowing for a bill of divorce. It's functional but far from best.

Jesus and Paul were very clear. The purpose of marriage is to have sex. To have some controls on the desires. From I have seen the church will not preach this. They teach purity, something Jesus and Paul did not teach about getting married.
If sex was the answer than how come the main reason for divorce is because the spouse has cheated?
You are convinced that sex is the ultimate prize. What happens if you were married to someone you thought was gorgeous looking only to learn that she was the most nasty or evil person that ever existed and you felt so depressed even suicidal because you married her. Would it all be worth it then?

No, that is your only point.
Why would God match someone a male who only wants to marry to control their sex drive with a female who is looking for a loving, kind, etc etc man. One is just fleshly and the other is looking for something deeper.

He also said the two shall become one flesh....that means sex.
Also as in not the primary purpose. It is an add-on.
According to Jesus and Paul, the purpose of marriage is to have sex.
The purpose of marriage is companionship.

The LORD God also said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make for him a suitable helper.”

That came before anything else. Your priorities are skewed.

the point of Marriage, Brother, is to show how we and Christ connect. The Sanctification of Walking in and with God is supposed to be so Pure, Honest, Truthful, out of Love. And how Jesus loves us as a Husband to His Bride, that is what the Purpose of how our own Earthly Marriage is to reflect.

You, WERE the only ONE, when the Preacher preached on pre-marrital sex, who actually Obeyed.
Part of why I hammer that message to my own people.

Stop worrying about what the Preacher preached. The Young kids tend to make mistakes before they actually try to walk a sinless life and let them walk it without condemnation. God, will rope em in.

That is not what Jesus and Paul said. Both made it clear, the main idea of marriage was to control the sex drive.

GOD does not match anyone. You choose who you marry.

This is what the LORD commands for Zelophehad’s daughters: They may marry anyone they please as long as they marry within their father’s tribal clan. Numbers 36:6

John you seem to talk about sex more than all the other men on this site together times 10 even wanting it in heaven. I am just wondering what woman would find that attractive?

No...they didn't. That's a misapplication of what they said.

So? Oh, yeah, so you still avoid the point and wish to circumvent it. Normal behaviour from you.

What do you think 1 Corinthians 7:5 means?
It certainly does not supplant God creating Eve as a companion for Adam.

The LORD God also said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make for him a suitable helper.”
Genesis 2:18

So what did 1 Corin 7:9 mean? (But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion. )

Because it's an issue too many churches and Christians misinterpret.

Just answer the question.
