All women are basically the same, it's just their circumstances that make them different. A Filipina from the Philippines may be one way, but a U.S./Canada/UK born Filipina is westernized. It's almost like taking advantage of her circumstances, rather than viewing her as an individual. People who are disadvantaged in some way, economically, etc. are willing to tolerate more. Subconsciously, what men really mean when they say they want a "submissive" wife, especially when referring to a foreign bride, is someone who lets them cheat and doesn't leave them. Pushing boundaries to maximum limits. And, poorer disadvantaged women are willing to tolerate this more.

I don't think I have ever made man-hating comments...not sure where you got that idea. I do post on the Singles forum and have said it is ok to be single though, if that is what you mean.

It is not really about being insulted. No one I know cares if a man marries a foreign bride esp from developed country such as UK France Korea Argentina wherever, but when they go to a poor developing country etc there is an added twist...almost like buying a wife. No one cares about interracial marriage anymore.

Not necessarily. Even celebrities in the Philippines marry Foreigners. This means the world is getting smaller due to the digital era. Not all who marry foreigners are poor.

Most women including in the US only want to marry a person that upgrades their lifestyle. So part of the problem women have in western countries is it's not easy to find men than can "upgrade their lifestyle" so the majority of western women end up competing for a very small percentage of men. The consequence of that is there's a lot of lonely people on both sides.

It's difficult for a lot of men who have to compete in the western dating world where they are completely ignored by the opposite sex. Most of these men are considered losers and looked down upon by many women simply because they don't make enough money, have the right body or enough hair on their head. So if they can find love in another country then Godspeed to them.

In the Philippines most women work very hard but also have the same mindset in wanting to "upgrade their lifestyle". Western dollars go a lot further there so it takes far less money to improve upon the lifestyle of the average fillipina. Plus age and body type are not as critical to many filipina's so older, balding, pudgy men are more readily accepted by them.

No woman should tolerate a husband who cheats. Forget about the submissive crap too. A wife is should not be obligated to wait on her 'submissive' husband on his every whim or desire. I fully concur with your estimate that all women are basically the same. Also, your last sentence was profound in its content.

But that is really true if not all households...It is in our culture.... My parents taught us to respect,love, cherish, submit to the man in the house.

Not necessarily. "Seek and you will find" still applies. But gee you have to be careful. It would be far safer to meet someone in a Christian setting. Even then, pray every step of the way. Some people are ready for marriage, others are not. Men mature later in life than women. Men are generally interested in younger women, so women should not leave it too late. Marry your best friend!

Let me start over.

I am a respectful gentleman when it comes to women, so I apologize, somewhat, for my earlier response. Not that I did not mean what I said, but I did not mean for it to sound disrespectful in my delivery of it. What you did, and are still doing, is stereotyping, and that is never a good thing to do. Every man, or woman, ought to be judged based upon their own conduct...or misconduct. You would not like to be lumped together with other women simply because you are a woman, and it is not fair to do that with men either.

All that I will say is that, even though I will probably remain single for the rest of my life, when I have thought about marriage, then I have thought about being a husband who would lay down his life for his wife even as Christ laid down his life for the church. In other words, a possible wife's "submissiveness" was never truly my concern, and if it had been, then it would not have resembled what you have been describing by any stretch of one's imagination. As I said before, your stereotype is insulting to any genuine Christian man, and some of us still exist.
