Where did you see that a Jewish remnant became Christians at the siege of Jerusalem? Is there historical documents that you saw this in?
Paul predicts in his letter to the Romans.

He was not writing to a group of people about events that had not meaning to them.
Romans 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. "As touching the election...(i.e. the yet unconverted elect national Israelites)..."
That is the same group as Paul mentioned earlier:

Romans 11:5-7 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. {6} And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. What then?I srael hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.

There were the national Israelites who were not elect, and there were the national Israelites who were elect. Only those would be saved, and they are part of the true Israel of God. Paul saw a definite future for the remnant of national Israel who had not yet been converted but who were elect. And they were finally converted before God destroyed Jerusalem in AD 70.

As if Paul was limited in how he presented Bible truth! Why do we assume that some third party came along to write Hebrews when Paul's stamp is all over it? Who had a special relationship with Timothy and ended this epistle as only Paul could? And why do you think that the erudite scholars who translated the King James Bible clearly identified Paul as the writer? Were they not being led by the Spirit?
Paul was an incredible individual and no doubt could have written such a letter. But it was his practice to share truth in a simple manner. 1 Corinthians 2:1...And I, brethren, when I came to you came not with excellency of speech or wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
Those who wrote the KJV did an excellent job overall, but I don't believe they were inspired. And while Paul is as good a choice as any to have written the epistle, scripture doesn't say who wrote it.

I think Hebrews 13:23 seals the deal for me that Paul was one of the authors.
It's good reasoning. I know many who would make the same claim. But someone who traveled with Paul would have been familiar with how he spoke and wrote.
I was merely offering something additional to consider.

I'm not disagreeing with you, I don't think Paul was the sole author, nor do I think those who authored it were willing to take full credit for it. I think much of the revelation could not be credited and so no author was given. The reference to Timothy indicates the author wasn't trying to be anonymous, so what makes sense to me is that it was a group effort.

Paul said that God had given Peter a ministry to the circumcision. We should therefore understand that many Jews had been saved and probably many of them knew the Bible.

And they were finally converted before God destroyed Jerusalem in AD 70.
And no more since?
And Israel as a people being preserved is just a bizarre coincidence?
And being in the land, now today yet another?
And the massive MASSIVE quantities of prophecy pertaining to Israel (the theocratic nation) in the millennium are actually about the Church?

No, but your dawg don't hunt. That much is clear.

Tinker toy latter-day clueless exegesis leading to utterly false conclusions is my estimate of your situation.

Just to let you know, when the Bible speaks of Israel.....it is ALWAYS speaking of the House of Jacob. Without exception. Ever.

I do not want Israel whipped out.
I want the leader of Israel, representing the people of Israel to:
Ask the Lord to forgive us.
Welcome all, Palestinians, and anyone else as our brothers and sisters.
Once done, I believe peace will start to envelope the Middle East.
I dont know if they are capable of peace. Both Talmudists and Muslims are violent by religious mandate.

It is actually because I believe the Bible and the very words of Jesus that I do not believe in the planning of evil, rich, powerful men who twisted scripture and repeated the lie often enough so people believed it.

In what manner do you mean?
Trying to justify that the murder of innocent civilians in an effort to destroy a handful of terrorists is justified, rather than calling it out for being exactly the same war crime as terrorism is. If any other country or organisation were doing this, Christians would be swift to condemn it as evil. Because the criminal government doing it has named itself "Israel", the sense of justice of too many Christians somehow becomes corrupted. I don't think this pleases God.

yes they do.

But it does not mean God is done with them.

The palestinians are just as Guilty as Jews using this thinking, as they reject Christ also.. in fact they reject the God of Israel. which is why they hate the jew so much.

the fact is, If Israel (when) repents. god will restore them..
You don't know who the remnant are. The so-called Jews don't even know their ancestry, as the temple was destroyed with the genealogical records in 70AD. One way or another, we agree that God is not done with those who claim to be Jews. My belief is that it will be more along the lines of Revelation 3:9 .

"Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee."

However, whether God is still working with the Israelis or not, it does not give Christians the right to declare as good that which is clearly evil (such as war crimes).

Yep. I get that.

I don't think that discounts anything I said in my post.

He's addressing the Nations, which are Gentile and making a distinction between HIS brethren, and the people who HELPED His brethren.

Kinda reaffirming "I will bless those that bless you, and curse those that curse you".
We are Jesus' brethren. Everyone who believes on Jesus is His brethren. Jesus' blessing is for everyone who helped Jesus' brethren - i.e. Christians. Jesus spoke to those of His countrymen (i.e. Jews) who disbelieved His word, and called them out as children of the devil.

What does that have to do with what I posted. I'll repeat, hopefully this time you will actually read it.

If you don't believe the Bible you are forced to believe in coincidences.

For example if you don't believe that the Bible prophesies that the Jews will be made into a nation of Israel in one day, that it will be something never heard of or seen before, and that they will look like dry bones walking out of the graves when they leave the concentration camp and come to Israel then you must believe in coincidences.

What "lie"? The inevitable promised redemption of the House of Jacob?

Hardening your heart despite the massive evidence is the same problem Pharoah had. Beware.

It really is Israel's 911. In every way. Only this time, 75% or more of the world is open to who really did 911, and who profited.
Both Israel and Hammas are profiting, but in different ways possibly. While Israel may be garnering weaponry and backing militarily. on the surface: Hammas strength is increasing in sheer numbers of followers.

It's not clear that the bible here is referring to the state of Israel being created. On the one hand, you are making the assumption that it is, and the creation of the state of Israel is clear fulfillment of biblical prophecy.

On the other hand, there are some who acknowledge the state of Israel was the design of very evil men, who may be attempting to fraudulently "fulfill" biblical prophecy by the use of wealth and power. If this is the case, some of the prophecies will remain unfulfilled or incomplete, or will be very different to what God had foretold (as despite the wealth of evil men, only God is omnipotent).

This is what many believe, as God clearly pronounced judgement for unrepentant Israel in the Old Testament, and here we have a New Israel which is blatantly anti-Christ (with no clear direct linkage genealogically to the Old Testament Israel, and with more in common with Babylon and the Pharisees' religion than the true Jews of Jesus' day), but many Christians look as far as the name "Israel", and immediately believe it to be a prophecy fulfilled, and these people the descendents of those destroyed in 70AD.

Like the CIA created Al-Qaeda and ISIS, I believe Israel created Hamas. They might be enemies on TV, but I'm sure at the higher levels, they are working hand-in-glove.

Again, you are not reading what I said. If you do not think that this prophecy is referring to Israel then you think it is a coincidence that Israel became a nation in one day after walking out of the graves of the holocaust looking like dry bones.

It wasn't a coincidence - it was a conspiracy, designed by the Rothschilds - very evil men. Now, yes, God could have been using them, or, they in turn could have been using scripture, to make it seem like a fulfilment. I don't know.

However, the attitude of those calling themselves Jews today fits in better with a description of them as the synogogue of Satan, than true Jews who have returned to their Messiah. So I'm thinking the latter explanation thus far.

Ultimately, it doesn't matter what we think. We are witnesses on Earth. Yet, a good witness does not declare some crimes as good, whether you believe the former explanation, or the latter.
