What is wrong with doing our best to follow the Ten? What is wrong with each of them?

I know I am yet not perfect, for God will complete that condition in me, but the ten Commandments are wonderful and good guidelines for all who live in grace to attempt to follow to the letter, for they are nor without mercy and love.

So, please address these augmenting questions.
it does paint a really unique picture here.
what is the 10 Commandments?
they are literally every SIN Category we could ever commit.
so, of course, we ALL should be striving to NOT Commit these SINS.
but, the moment, you say 10 Commandments, rather than don't Commit the 10 SINS, people, get all out of shape over the word, "Commandment."

But, those same people, have no problem if you say, DO NOT COMMIT these 10 SINS.
they just have an ISSUE over the word, COMMAND.

and that reveals, their REBELLION!

and they still cannot even grasp that.

SO glad we could all come to an understanding that that Law was given until Christ Jesus showed up and that we, who are alive today (much like Abraham and the children of promise), were never under the Law.

Asking mods to close this thread since we're all in unison.

yeah, we enlighten the fact many are in Rebellion, so, of course, let's CLOSE the THREAD so we do not get into proving their Rebellion.

The New Testament Law is Still Binding.;)
Do you believe there are any New Testament works from Jesus Christ which are absolutely unnecessary and, if so, which ones?

my life is not mine, it is God's, for whatever He Chooses
if that leads to death, to someone finding the Lord, to being a Witness
it's all about my SUBMISSION, to HIS WILL, to OBEY His Commands
It's not the Commands of the LAW, 10 Commandments, but the COMMANDS He gives to me for my Personal Ministry.
My life surrounds His COMMANDS

the idea to give money to the Poor/feed the Hungry, help the Needy is God giving me a COMMAND to do those things.
and when I SUBMIT, to HIS WILL and COMMAND, GOD, FEEDS/CLOTHES/HELPS those who are in Need

My entire WALK in GOD, by even READING the BIBLE and FOLLOWING what I read...is literally OBEYING COMMANDS!

the 10 Commandments, are just COMMANDS, that fall into following God and His Will.
and God even simplified them down to TWO, and PEOPLE, still hate the fact it is a COMMAND!

REBELLION, is the same as WITCHCRAFT!

This actually isn't the objection. Every Christian places a high priority on obedience. How can they do otherwise. The law is written upon our hearts. In addition, we have an indwelling Spirit who convicts of us of sin and lead us into all truth.
My personal objection to an emphasis on the law is that it is contrary to Christian living. Romans 7 speaks about the motions of sin that work with the law to produce sin and death in us. Focusing on the law will always lead to sin.
We have been given a better way. We can walk in the Spirit, and not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. We switch our focus from the law and focus on Christ...seeking His kingdom and His RIGHTEOUSNESS. In this way, we live, but not us; Christ lives in us. Now, rather than trying our best, we get His best...perfect righteousness. One way focuses on us. The other focuses on God.

you know, you don't even KNOW the LAW.
if you really understood the LAW
it now applies in a Spiritual Realm.

Look at the LAWS within the LAW.
now, Compare each single Law to how we now see it being APPLIED in the New Covenant.

These LAWS never went away, they became something Beneficial to every Follower of Jesus Christ.

Most don't know that, because, they're hung up over the word LAW or COMMAND.

i mean, GET OVER IT, IT IS WHAT IT IS, whether you like it or not!

you are cheating your self out of the Benefits of God by not understanding why God gave that Law in the first place.
it's always the Latter Meaning.
we read Old Testament, it's a Picture of the Coming Messiah, New Testament is Jesus Christ, the REVEALED Messiah.
it's ALWAYS about FORMER things and how they're later applied to the New Covenant.

The Jewish religious leadership "enhanced" the list up to 613 commandments.
Yeah.

Enhanced is a good word. Augmented, even better.

Jesus made fun of the Jews for all that nonsense they added.
this is incorrect.

the 613 mitzvot / commandments are all from the Torah, commandments from God Himself in the marriage covenant Law with the nation Israel given at Sinai. they are not the human traditions added by religious leaders.

here is a list of them with scripture references for each:
