I learned to read because of programs like Reading Rainbow...
once I learned to read I was able to read the Bible FOR MYSELF and stop relying on my heathen siblings to read it to me (usually incorrectly) and was able to stop looking through "reading" children's inaccurate Bible picture books.

Who knew it was so evil 🤷
Actually, the rainbow is not evil. It represents God's promise to the human race that He'll never flood the earth again. Satan stole it, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't take it back.

Tolerance led to acceptance.
Acceptance to acquiesce and eventually to support.

There are many who in less than a generation would have agreed with you. Now their children fight for the devil and identify with him using God's symbol twisted to the Satanic perversion. 🌈 > 🏳️‍🌈
The bow in the sky is still God's promise to the world. Satan twists everything God has done.

And let me guess.... they directed people to read books that were not... God's Word, the Bible right?

By directing people away from the Lord, they are acting as agent of satan as this is satan's thing.... leading people to anything that is not related to the Lord as to distract people from knowing the Lord...
We're preaching against books too?

Hmm, yes... The evils of Dr. Seuss cannot be overstated. Him and his heretical one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish.

My great grandfather had only one book, the Holy Bible. Everything else was a profound sin. Unfortunately he had his very own thoughts about what the Bible said. In his opinion of the Bible beating his wife, kids and grandchildren was the highest form of Christianity. The golden rule not so much. To him God was a holy excuse for carrying out psychopathic attacks. Maybe he should have read other books as well.

Problem is, you say ALL music that doesn't directly say something about God falls under the "music that is friendly with this world's ways of being and doing right."

There ain't a thing in the world wrong with the "Reading Rainbow" theme song. I defy you to find anything evil in it.
If anyone is interested in seeing what an episode of Reading Rainbow was like:

The Grinch figured it out. Perhaps other hearts will grow 3 sizes this year.

And hijacks it for his own purposes.

It's been a slow boil, something satan's good at. Like you said, from tolerance all the way to celebration. Fortunately, some of us are waking up. Unfortunately, some of us have been sucked into it. This is why we need Biblical and well as civics training in our public schools again.

Or, just read the Bible without the lens of his own agenda. (Not that I'm opposed to reading other things.)

That would be ideal if we had good Christian parents teaching it. The unfortunate situation is that despite the minority of Christians teaching, the vast majority are heathens. I went through many classes at the colleges of education and the college of agriculture. There's really nothing offered like that in the educational psychology and curriculum classes. That's why if the Lord ever blesses me with a qualified wife, we will home school the children. I'm with you though. BTW, I found a way to teach civics the right way. Like the old saying, if you want something done right, you've got to do it yourself. I did that for others already.

Actually I leaned from God's Word that a little leaven spoils the whole loaf.... music is a power vehicle to covey thoughts, ideas, and emotions and it's one of the most power tools the devil uses to indoctrinate people to his evil and dark mind set.

So, my priorities are right where they need to be as secular music is a big no no for anyone that actually loves the Lord and wants to please Him.

Sure there are other big fish to fry, but secular music prepares people's minds and emotions to go dark.,.. just how the devil likes it!
I think secular music is 'strange fire', the way God describes a ungodly sacrifice

I think we're blessed to have the Holy Spirit teach us as we read His Word.
I was reminded of your previous comment on civics when I read the end of 1 Samuel 7 and chapter 8 earlier.
Refresh my memory, if you would? It's late and I don't feel like looking it up :giggle:

nah

strange fire would be what some 'worship' groups offer (supposedly) to God

secular music is not being offered to God while it may be an affront to God
