Some people seem to think that Europe and the USA are deserting Ukraine. That is untrue. War is a blight on the human race, but oppressive dictatorships are worse. Ukrainians can tell you about that.
Military aid to Ukraine ramps up.
Russia was never a threat to Western Europe, when Putin's primary goal was to restore "the Russian empire" (of which Ukraine was a part before). Had America and Europe stayed out of this conflict (since there were no national interests at risk for either entity), Ukraine would have been compelled to negotiate peace and also give up some territory.I guess Europe finally feels threatened.
Hard to say. It's not Biden holding things up as far as I can tell. Republicans are the fly in the ointment for now.I know Germany has stepped up on their support, but I am not sure the Biden Administration or our Congress are as committed to their support of the ongoing war there.
Yeah, a little gun shy after learning that billions of dollars given to Ukraine was laundered back the US via FTX and given to political campaigns to get people elected. For some strange reason, there are a lot of Republicans who are not interested in passing spending bills that use money laundry to fund their opponents campaigns.Hard to say. Ukrainians initially welcomed German forces in WW2. They wanted freedom from the oppressive Russian regime. Some Ukrainians joined the German military, including as prison camp guards. Germany could have had Ukraine as an ally.Russia was never a threat to Western Europe, when Putin's primary goal was to restore "the Russian empire" (of which Ukraine was a part before). What everyone conveniently forgets is that after Crimea was annexed in 2014 (with the blessings of Obama), Ukraine and all of Eastern and Northern Europe could have made a proper defense alliance for themselves and ignored NATO. That would have totally discouraged Russia from going after any of these countries: Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and Ukraine. Belarus is a staunch ally of Russia. But all of Scandinavia could have also helped them to set up an eastern defense barrier along Russia's western border.
You have proof?Yeah, a little gun shy after learning that billions of dollars given to Ukraine was laundered back the US via FTX and given to political campaigns to get people elected. You mean the CEO of FTX being convicted of money laundry? Yeah, I suppose that would be considered proof. You have proof?
Yes, I heard about that. But how about something specifically related to Ukraine aid money? You mean the CEO of FTX being convicted of money laundry? Yeah, I suppose that would be considered proof.
Yes, I heard about that. But how about something specifically related to Ukraine aid money?
There is nothing new about misuse of taxpayer's money. International aid to Gaza is not audited and has made Hamas leaders filthy rich while enabling their military build up and tunnel construction. Money given to the UN pays for "peacekeepers" who do nothing. I've seen photos of UN food aid being sold in supermarkets in Egypt. Corruption is everywhere. It's about time that the US pulled funding from the UN. They are little but parasites, a mouthpiece for the enemies of democracy. Ukraine is a drop in the bucket compared to the UN.
Putin called Ukraine a satellite of America, and he is perfectly right. So now that Putin has exposed the Biden administration, we have another "timely" hoax involving Russia, but no one wants to admit it.Wow, just heard MTG in an interview with Tucker Carlson, she is a radical! She said, and I quote "Ukraine is not part of the USA"!? Can you believe that? It is worse, she said instead of spending $1 billion. a month to prop up Ukraine's government we should help Americans!
