Wow. Lot of haters of savory cheesecakes here.I am not much of one to buy magazines, but many years ago I bought one that had many different
cheesecake recipes in it. I used to love making cheesecakes LOL. My fave from that purchase was a
white chocolate cheesecake with raspberry topping, but there were savoury ones, too. I am not sure
of the occasion, as this was many years ago, but I made two cheesecakes to take to some "event" -
it was among friends... we used to get together as a group for dinner often. Anyways, people hear
cheesecake and they automatically think sweet, but one of my cheesecakes was a salmon cheesecake
with dill. It went over like a lead balloon haha. But my white chocolate cheesecake was a huge hit any
time I made it. I called it a heart stopper as it had a kg of cream cheese, a pound of white chocolate,
a cup of butter, and four eggs in it. I modified the recipe so it had a crushed shortbread and chocolate
wafer base, and put the raspberries under a sour cream and melted dark chocolate topping .
Tuscan olive cheesecake is good. Never had salmon cheesecake, but I bet it would be delicious. Cool ranch cheesecake is... Very rich, but also very good. I can't eat much at a time.
Y'all need to expand your gastronomic horizons. There is room in the world for savory cheesecakes. In fact they are flat-out good!
Interesting fact: Sometimes at w*rk I get an order of pancakes and three pieces of fish. You can order the fish without the fish sandwich. Wrap a pancake around each fish piece and call them fish tacos.I wonder what's next......tuna fish pancakes? As a syrup we can use mayo lol.

It's not so much gastronomic but palettomic. Plus, I can picture someone eating a chocolate bar bumping into someone eating peanut butter and deciding to dip the chocolate bar in the peanut butter. I'm struggling to see Opie coming home from fishing and running into Aunt Bee carrying her award winning cheesecake and that working out well.
I eat tuna with oreos.I've gotten a few people on here to taste them together, but none have liked it yet!

If there are people who use 2 glazed donuts as a bun for a hamburger, then why not pancakes and fish? I'd try it!
