I don't think it changes I thinks prophecy is for all generations
If so, does that mean that the prophetic phrase about the last days applies to everyone?

Isaiah 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

Isaiah 2:3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Jews do not know the meaning of this prophecy, nor do they know who the God of Jacob is. The same goes for Christians.

What do you think about this passage?

Psalm 22:30 A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.
Psalm 22:31 They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

genos: family, offspring
Original Word: γένος, ους, τό
Part of Speech: Noun, Neuter
Transliteration: genos
Phonetic Spelling: (ghen'-os)
Definition: family, offspring
Usage: offspring, family, race, nation, kind.

This is the Church age generation, having been going on for 2000 years. It's not in the sense of a generation that was born and living at about the same time

The chosen generation does not refer to all generations. "This generation" refers to the generation seeking who Jacob is, a character in the prophecies. God refers to Himself as the God of Jacob.

Peter1 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

Ecclesiaste 1:4 One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.

The generation from Adam.
Jesus also said this.

John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
John 5:40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

He will reign on David’s throne
and over his kingdom,
establishing and upholding it
with justice and righteousness
from that time on and forever.
The zeal of the Lord Almighty
will accomplish this.

For Jesus to sit in the temple of Jerusalem again it will need to be recaptured 😊

Prophecy stands for all generations

Isaiah Meaning:Salvation of the Lord. Isaiah is a masculine name of Hebrew origin, meaning "salvation of the Lord." Derived from the Hebrew phrase Yeshayahu,

Yetanyyahu is the current Israeli leader who must be conquered 😊

I have a fundamental question about why the content of the Old Testament is called prophecy. It's an interpretation different from that of the Jews.

John 17:6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.

John 17:26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

What is the name of Father? If we examine the passage above, Jesus says in the New Testament that He revealed His Father's name to them. However, we cannot find the Father's name in the New Testament. He stated that He revealed the Father's name and will reveal it again. This can also be interpreted as a prophecy symbolizing future events. Then who are 'they'? I was able to find the name of God in the Old Testament.

In another translation of John 17-6 it it says I shown them what your like

It may well mean Jesus said i have made him known to them I have shown them what your like.

As the hebrews already knew the fathers name was I Am / Jehova /!yehweh / yhwh/.

So it was more than likely another translation other than the one your looking at.

So no I don't think your translation is what is meant, and best not to think that 😊

In Zephaniah we are taught that the New Name of our Maker will be given us after all have been given a pure language. This is in order for all to call upon our Lord with one name in one accord. Here are a few versions of this teaching.

Zephaniah 3:9
(ABP+) ForG3754 thenG5119 I will transferG3344 uponG1909 the peoplesG2992 one tongueG1100 forG1519 her generation,G1074 G1473 G3588 for all to call uponG1941 G3956 theG3588 nameG3686 of the lord ,G2962 G3588 to serveG1398 himG1473 underG5259 [2yokeG2218 1one].G1520
(ASV) For then will I turn to the peoples of a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of Jehovah, to serve him with one consent.
(ISV) Indeed, then I will return my people to a pure language so that they all may call upon the name of the LORD, serving him with a united will."
(Italian GD) Perciocchè allora muterò le labbra de' popoli in labbra pure; acciocchè tutti quanti invochino il Nome del Signore, e lo servano di pari consentimento.
(KJV) For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.
(KJV+) ForH3588 thenH227 will I turnH2015 toH413 the peopleH5971 a pureH1305 language,H8193 that they may allH3605 callH7121 upon the nameH8034 of the LORD,H3068 to serveH5647 him with oneH259 consent.H7926
(KJVA) For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.
(Spanish RV) Por entonces volveré yo á los pueblos el labio limpio, para que todos invoquen el nombre de Jehová, para que de un consentimiento le sirvan.

John was made a prophet after the coming of the lord he was told God to write the book of revelation @GlorytoGod

But also he was told not to write something

And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down.”

I believe so too, but we must look to the Bible for evidence that our generation is the chosen generation.
Because Jesus said that everything would happen within a generation. and What is the evidence for a chosen generation?
And in that passage of Isaiah, he tells Zion and Jerusalem to deliver good news. Who are these?
If we look at the prophecy, we can find a passage in which God commands something toward Zion and Jerusalem. Who are these people? These are any place name or city name, but God is personifying someone and giving orders to these people. within a chosen generation,
It is God’s people. “Comfort ye My people.” God’s people today who understand the truth of God’s Word are the chosen generation described in 1 Peter 2:9-10. We are the generation who are living in the time of the parable of the fig tree, the final generation.

Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD'S hand double for all her sins. The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Isaiah 40:1-3

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light… 1 Peter 2:9
