point 1: makes a few assumptions. assumption 1: you assume that the snake was made as a cunning beast. when in fact the scripture is simply giving a description of this particular snake and saying it is mor cunning than any beast that God had made.
You assume that the serpent is a snake and snakes can talk; however, by hebrew def., the serpent is
one who speaks enchantments, or in this case a subtle lie. The serpent is a serpent because he has
already deceived Eve through subtlety, and he spoke Truth (don't eat) and Lie (don't touch) at the
same time (forked tongue). To think the serpent was a snake is the myth Paul warns us about in 2Tim.
assumption 2: You assume that Eve and Adam were the first sinners when they are actually the first human sinners. Satan sinned before Adam and Eve. sin originated in heaven not earth.
Did not sin originate in the Garden, which is the Third Heaven, when Adam ate the F. fruit?
Eze 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
Eze 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
Eze 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
Was not Adam perfect and created in the Likeness of the Lord God? Did he not name the animals? Was
he not annointed and transformed when the Lord God breathed into his nostrils?
Eze 28:16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
Eze 28:17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
Isa 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
Isa 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
Isa 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
All of these are spoken of before Satan made his play on Eve. By what means do you think Lucifer
thought he might be able to achieve all thse desires? Could it be the Forbidden fruit, because he thought
it could make him like GOD, as he told Eve?
Lucifer was a created angel who was with god but he began to look at the beauty that he had and instead of giving glory to the one who Crated him he began to exalt himself.
Point 2:
you argue from lack of mention, never a good or wise move. Eve is replying to the subject that the snake/satan has brought up. thus Eves answer. The tree of life is not the issue here clearly seen by the words of the snake and the answer of Eve. thus the subject is the point of discussion here. the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
You missed all the inconsistancies in her testimony!
Point 3:
You say that Adam was right there with her when she was tempted. this is also an assumption. the verse says:
Gen 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Now the "with her" statement you say means that Adam stood there while the snake tempted. but the intended meaning is that Adam was in the garden with her, not right next to her. how can we tell which one?
Oh, yeah; by whose intention? yours or some preacher? 'with her' means 'with her' in my book because
she could not give the fruit to him unless he was with her. (Wow)
1Ti 2:14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
Adam was not deceived thus he was not with Eve and the snake but when eve was deceived then she came and gave to Adam.
note real sure what you are getting at with points 4-8.
Seems to me you have much more homework to do to get all this right.
Adam and Eve were cursed with death to come. which would have come instantly had not Jesus been the promised saviour.
What or where did you get that from. God told Adam he would die the very day he ate the F. fruit. And
Adam died a spiritual death the moment he ate. God never told Adam he woould die a physical death,
just a spiritual one (Adam did not know he could die two ways).
You best stick to the 'milk' of the Word, and do not try to serve meat when you cannot even take it.
