Not exactly. I call it you trying to make doctrine out of thin air and me telling you you’re out to lunch.
i dont see you adding any scripture in this discussion other than your opinion.

When Scripture is needed, I'll add it. I don't need Scripture to tell you that what you claim is not scriptural. I made a clear reference to Scripture... and you ignored it.

Rejecting the word of someone else’s senior pastor is nothing; who is he to you? Rejecting the word of your own senior pastor is quite appropriate if his word is contrary to Scripture.

"I have come to bring a sword" is not a covenant. If you would drop the concept (and word) 'covenant', we can have a conversation. Otherwise, you're off in left field.

Don't bother with your dismissive comments... especially when they don't relate to my post at all.

The Bible doesn't say that. Simeon says specifically to Mary, "A sword will pierce your own soul." He does not say it to everyone. Given that most of the rest of your post is based on this erroneous basis, it's not worth addressing.

It doesn't mean anything of the sort.

That's both unrelated and silly.

Your comment is asinine, inappropriate, and erroneous.

That's because you don't know Scripture.

Luke 2:34 Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother: “This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, 35 so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too.”

Any time you want to challenge me on the content of Scripture, and don't do your homework first, I'll be happy to call you on it.

Isaiah 2:4

4 He will settle disputes among great nations. They will hammer their swords into plows and their spears into pruning knives. Nations will never again go to war, never prepare for battle again.

Blah blah blah. How about admitting that you were wrong?

I see no point in discussing Scripture with someone who won't admit it when Scripture proves him wrong.
then maybe you need help in understanding circumcision of the heart is by the spirit

And maybe you need help understanding there is a sword of the spirit. 😊

Don't make asinine assumptions. I understand far more than you think.
