My little rescue kitty, Luna. I have had her for close to ten years, now. She was about six months old
when I adopted her. It was my daughter's idea... as we entered Pet Smart one day, she exclaimed,
"You've lived alone long enough! You're getting a cat." I thought, "I am?!?!?" I had pretty much just
gotten used to the fact that I did not have to look for the unwelcome surprises my former cat used
to leave for me as she somewhat steadily declined during the last year of her relatively long life.
But I went along with the idea, because I like having a pet, and dogs are not allowed where I live
.:D

Luna is very chill, and very quiet, so quiet that if I were not looking at her to see her mouth open
and close, most of the time I would not even know she was speaking to me. She likes to bite. Any-
thing and everything, from me to the metal handles on my cupboards! Boxes are not safe near her.
She can also be very affectionate, sometimes laying between my feet, or sitting there with her head
bowed, resting against my leg. She comes and stands on me when she is hungry. She bites me then,
too. Other times she will come and lay beside me, but if I pet her she will bite me. So she likes to be
near me, but does not always want to be touched, and I am fine with that. If I say "Kiss" to her, she
raises her head toward me and tilts it at just the right angle to receive a kiss. Each situation needs
to be accurately accessed before proceeding further. LOL

I would have bet my bottom dollar that your pet was colorful and had an assortment of hats.

My daughter dresses up her dogs for special occasions, but I would not dare try it with Luna LOL

Thank you, Poinsetta .:). I take Luna with me when I stay at my daughter's place while she
holidays with her aunt and their dogs. So I have to keep my cat separate from her three cats,
and it gets to be quite a juggling act! One time when I arrived with Luna, her claws had gotten
firmly stuck in the mesh of her cat carrying bag. Whose idea was it to make cat totes with mesh,
anyway??? It is a good thing my daughter knows how to handle animals (she has worked at an
animal hospital for about the last ten years), because she knew she needed to get a VERY firm
grip on Luna while we tried to prise her free from her tote, all the while twisting and writhing
and trying to bite. By the time it was over, the look on my little kitty's face was one I had never
seen before and hope to never see again in my life. It had really hurt her feelings to have been
so abused. She never liked travelling and probably likes it even less, now! But after that my
daughter got me a better cat tote. One that I don't need three hands to get her into, and
four hands to get her out of LOL.

"Post your pet"

Well, the lady at the Post Office looked a bit concerned when I told her what was in the package.
