The reader will be shocked to know that Ukraine has received 246 billion Euros or USD 266 billion dollars from all donors between January, 2022 and January 2024 (with the US contribution adjusted to 75 billion). "The Joe Biden administration and the U.S. Congress have directed about $75 billion in assistance to Ukraine, which includes humanitarian, financial, and military support, according to the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, a German research institute. (This figure does not include all war-related U.S. spending, such as aid to allies.)" https://www.cfr.org/article/how-much-aid-has-us-sent-ukraine-here-are-six-charts

That is simply a staggering amount of cash. What was it used for? Where did it go? Who benefited the most from this obscene amount for a war in which Ukraine has already lost to Russia? But nobody is asking these questions in the Western world. The Western media should be asking these questions daily, but instead they are promoting more cash for Ukraine.

But a lot of that money is actually going to the Pentagon and US companies. "Here is the best-kept secret about U.S. military aid to Ukraine: Most of the money is being spent here in the United States. That’s right: Funds that lawmakers approve to arm Ukraine are not going directly to Ukraine but are being used stateside to build new weapons or to replace weapons sent to Kyiv from U.S. stockpiles. Of the $68 billion in military and related assistance Congress has approved since Russia invaded Ukraine, almost 90 percent is going to Americans, one analysis found."
https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2023/11/29/ukraine-military-aid-american-economy-boost/

Then the misappropriate of funds is another issue and concern.
US has spent billions on Ukraine war aid. But is that money landing in corrupt pockets?
Support could erode further among Americans and Ukrainians, according to members of Congress and Sopko, without greater transparency and accountability for the tens of billions spent.

Now the US Senate wants to foolishly send another 60 billion dollars to Ukraine.
"On February 13, 2024, the Senate passed the National Security Act, 2024 (H.R. 815, as amended), by a vote of 70- 29. If enacted, Division A of the act would provide approximately $60 billion for Ukraine-related activities out of $95.3 billion in total funding."

What is not being addressed and honestly faced is the Ukraine has already lost the war and it is time for a peace treaty, not more tax-payer money being wasted while the taxpayers suffer under "Bidenomics".

Ukraine Can’t Win the War

The long-awaited counteroffensive last year failed. Russia has recaptured Avdiivka, its biggest war gain in nine months. President Volodymyr Zelensky has been forced to quietly acknowledge the new military reality. The Biden Administration’s strategy is now to sustain Ukrainian defense until after the U.S. presidential elections, in the hope of wearing down Russian forces in a long war of attrition.

This strategy seems sensible enough, but contains one crucially important implication and one potentially disastrous flaw, which are not yet being seriously addressed in public debates in the West or Ukraine. The implication of Ukraine standing indefinitely on the defensive—even if it does so successfully—is that the territories currently occupied by Russia are lost. Russia will never agree at the negotiating table to surrender land that it has managed to hold on the battlefield.

I think the same, Russia at some point when they feel it would be too costly to continue will consolidate the territory they occupy and stop to fortify for a few years at least.

Exclusive — Lt. Col. Daniel Davis on Ukraine-Russia War’s 2-Year Mark: ‘No Path’ to Ukraine Victory, U.S. Influence ‘Waning’
There is “no path to a military victory for Ukraine,” and further aid packages will have virtually no effect on the conflict’s outcome, according to retired Army Lt. Col. Daniel L. Davis, who warned that American influence is waning as the Russia-Ukraine war enters its third year.
https://www.breitbart.com/politics/...-daniel-davis-ukraine-russia-war-2-year-mark/

So why are Biden, the Democrats, and the RINOs so keen to keep sending billions to Ukraine? People still have not understood that support for Ukraine is merely to DEFLECT ATTENTION from the disasters Joe Biden and his thugs have created not only in America, but all over the world.

For example, the world's shipping industry has been totally sabotaged in the Red Sea because of Biden. Why? Because Biden gave billions to Iran, and Iran gave millions or billions to the Houthis, plus all kinds of military aid and weaponry. And not a single country has brought this sabotage to a halt. The solution was quite simple. The day the Houthis made their first attack on a ship, they declared war against the whole world.

And the response should have been quick and final. All Houthi strongholds should have been bombed out if existence. And then Iran should have received a final warning -- one more act of international terrorism (including what Hamas did on October 7) and the bombs would fall on Tehran and all military and nuclear facilities in Iran. This should have been a worldwide response, since the Western world sent billions to Ukraine with nothing to show for the expense.

It's not cash that has been given to Ukraine....it's the high dollar equipment.

Military equipment is very expensive and has a high dollar amount placed on it.

Take a binocular for example....a fairly decent one is maybe $100. But split it up and make it for rifles and now it's at least $1500 ×2 = $3,000 worth of equipment. Same amount of plastics...same secure mount for the lenses...but the cost is sky high.

What the real problem is the fickle American Government.
Do it or don't do it. Quit this nonsense!

We started helping Ukraine with munitions to stop Russia because of our treaty with them. We need to see it through. Otherwise Russia WILL conscript what's left of the Ukranian military and use them to continue to conquer more nations.
Using the threat of nuclear war to get their way. IOW nuclear blackmail.

Figure it out...if the USA and EU/NATO back down they are toast and Russia will rule the world. Not bad for a gas station nation....

Oh?
You somehow think they were kidding when they said that this was their desire and aim?

On what basis do you doubt Russian ambition?

It is already too late "to see it through". See post #4. How come you are avoiding the simply solution -- a peace treaty with Russia overseen by NATO? Ukraine is not getting back the territories taken by Russia. But the warfare can stop nd money and lives can be saved.

All that the West wants is war, war, and more war. Why? Because all the Western leaders have gone to war with the people they were elected to GOVERN. That should be obvious to anyone who has been paying attention. So now Ukraine is a great distraction.

So what should be done to stop Russian aggression and ambition?

Because Moldova, Finland, and Armenia are next....all the military and men conscripted and then they keep moving farther west...taking bites of the EU until there is no Europe. Possibly grabbing Turkey along the way.

What then?

Russian ambition (Putin's ambition) was to restore the Russian Empire, and this began a long time ago. And everyone was aware of this. Chechnya was taken over in 2000 and Georgia in 2008. So why did the countries in Europe along the western and southern border not make their own defense alliance to ensure that Russia would not come at them, and include Finland and Scandinavia back then? Russia has no interest in taking over Western Europe, so NATO should have stayed out of this. Now NATO is seen as a threat to Russia. For the Biden administration to claim that they want to preserve democracy in Ukraine is simply hypocritical, since they are destroying it in the USA.

You obviously have NOT been paying attention. The three countries i previously mentioned ARE INDEED Rissia's next Targets....Latvia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Austria are just hiccups in their Ambitions. They are coming for them too.
Don't be an Ostrich....they want their former USSR states ALL back and more.

Obama AND Trump BOTH ignored the treaty with Ukraine. Which was stupid!

Ukraine does not impact on the national interests of the USA. But Ukraine could have joined all the other countries contiguous to Russia (on the West and the South). They had plenty of time after Crimea.

Both Obama and Trump are idiots sitting in their opposite ditches.

Those two presidents are the most polarizing leaders this country has been suffering through after Andrew Johnson.

Maybe the Chinese?
Ruling the world is very different concept these days than when countries used to put boots on the ground and invade ... I think the idea is more to undermine other countries, like the USA has done for years.

Wanting to reclaim traditional Russian land where Russians actually live who have wanted to be part of Russia not Ukraine does not mean they are able to nor desire to have soldiers in every country in the world.

The elitist technocrats like Musk and Zuckerberg might be in a better position to rule the world from a cell phone.

On what basis do you think Ukraine wants to be a part of Russia?

They sure have a funny way of showing it if they do.

And Russia has a SOP....conscripting soldiers from lands they conquer...and co-opting the equipment.

So....
Here's the question:
If Russia continues to advance and we still don't keep our treaty with Ukraine....Poland will advance to stop the Russian horde now comprised of Russians, Ukrainian, Moldovan, Armenian, Hungarian, and other soldiers...

What do you believe the US response should be if any? (Do not doubt that it WILL HAPPEN)

Because now NATO will be fully engaged with Russia. And it's yet another treaty that if the US falters in upholding none of the treaties we have will be worth the paper they are written upon.

Are you unwilling to lay down your life for another? Risk being uncomfortable for another? Lie to obtain gains?
IOW betray EVERY Christian principle you claim to hold?

That is right they all play a game for influence and control, competing interests is the correct view of geopolitics.
