Ive had a little college physics. What's crazy is my best college grades often came in literature classes. I always thought of myself as a math and skience guy but my grades often reflected differently. Except for trig. I was pretty good at trigonometry.

One of my friends has a friend thats an airline pilot and once a bird hit his windshield. He landed the plane to get it repaired, but he said he really didn't have to because it has more than one layer of glass but he didn't want to take any chances.

I have another friend who has two sons that work of airliners for a living and he said they were on a family trip and was landing on a small island when a buzzer went off. He said his sons started laughing and said that he took the auto pilot off because its not as good at landing on a small strip on auto as a human lol.

The reason this didn't show the rotation is in the Top Comment in the Youtube comments: friction. The unit was not manufactured to detect the motion of earth spinning. The first min of this vid explains the problem gyros have with the task (Link).

Did you even watch the vid I posted for you? Covering a $20k laser gyroscope purchased by FEarthers, that could detect earth rotation, with the hope that it wouldn't, but it did? Bob Knodel & His Ring Laser Gyroscope Experiment (youtube.com)

One needs to ask oneself? "Do I want earth to be flat (for some reason)? Yes or No
If 'yes', you have to acknowledge and take head-on your own confirmation bias.

If want a bunch of dudes with no science degree or training to make a youtube vid "proving" earth is flat with faulty premises, formulas and gear, you can find it, and they want your funding. But is that really the right place to start if you want to find reality and truth?

If you want reality and truth, and avoid falsehood and cult trappings, then start with the science that has been discovered, confirmed and built upon over centuries by scientists -- as I discovered by science historian (christian) Stephen Meyer -- scientists who were dedicated christians who's stated reason for their scientific pursuits was to discover God's creation. The vast majority of today's science knowledge, including the reality of the spherical earth, was done by the research of christians.

Start with learning the current confirmed knowledge built over centuries, so you at least have a basis for seeing thru FE cult junk science falsehood vids.

I've always said this and it still holds true. If you want to believe in the globe, go ahead. You'll have plenty of company. But if you don't, there is a lot of evidence out there that says the world is stationary. It just depends on what you want to believe in. I can never change anyone' mind that doesn't want to believe that we are being told a load of lies, but if there is someone here that wants to know that there is a God without a doubt, then look at how phony the skience world is.

You're missing the point of science. If Earth is really a ball, the curvature would be detectable by everyone, using fairly simple tests and experiments. That all the tests (including the gyroscope experiment being discussed) do not provide any evidence for curvature or rotation is demonstration that the scientific method indicates the Earth is not curved. The claim that only the most expensive equipment or NASA-picked Freemason astronots can detect the curvature is the opposite of science, which requires testability and repeatability, not just-so stories from a cult high-priest.
