This isn't about me, or what I claim. You claim that the 1900 Cambridge edition is "the perfect word of God", so your supporting arguments must meet a much higher standard.
I have 101 Reasons why the King James Bible is the Pure Word of God for today. I am not without my good reasons. If it's not the KJV, then a person must conclude there is no perfect Bible, and therefore, they become the authority instead of the Bible. I do have reasons why it is the Pure Cambridge, but I know it will not convince you. You will not even consider normal good reasons for the KJV over the vomit-hot mess of the Modern Bible Movement.

No. You are the one who is sidestepping. You have to ignore all the problems in the Modern Bible Movement in order to believe in it. From deceptions, greed, false man-made translation theories, false doctrines, ignoring what the Bible says on this topic, and more.

Proofread before posting. Check again right after you post.
In addition, it really is not normal to have a 5 minute edit window. Other Christian forums do not have this restriction. I understand why they may have it. But 5 minutes is too restrictive in my opinion. I would prefer a 1 day edit window, but if they really must have a restrictive edit window, it should at least be 20 minutes at the very least.

Suck it up, buttercup. Proofread BEFORE you post.

It is post-Christian; it does not predate the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Esther was considered inspired and included in the Hebrew canon. That pre-dates Christianity.

What do the Dead Sea Scrolls have to do with it?

Oh, and by the way. I don't answer you. I am bound to mistakes unless they fix the system. My time is too valuable to keep going over my posts a ton of times in previewing them before posting. But I am not bowing the knee to you. You are not God. I will just add more corrective add-on posts until they fix the edit window to be more normal. I don't answer to you. So no. I will not suck it up.

So how is that like normal? God does communicate to His people, right? Would it not be with a specific book like the Bible?
Trying to chop out parts of the Bible is kind of silly and it's not duplicatable and neither is what we see in history. What kind of influence does this movement of denying the book of Esther as Scripture in the Bible even have?

I remember another guy on the forums a long while back denying the Song of Solomon as inspired Scripture. He thought that was the only book that should not belong in the Bible. I am like… really? What group even believed that way through history? Is that the view of Christianity for hundreds of years? That’s what dumb about denying certain books in the Bible. People just like go off their own thinking and they believe it to be reality, but it’s not. Their religion only exists in their own mind. They are cult of one. The Bible is an all or nothing book. You either believe all of the Bible, or you don’t believe it. It’s not a pick and choose your own adventure type book.

The edit window is not broken and does not require fixing.

It's perfect for those that take this advice to heart.

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:-James 1:19

If one sees that dey 'ain't got time for dat' it would be wise to stop a minute and check self's attitude against wise counsel.

I believe 5 minutes is too restrictive. That is my freedom of speech or viewpoint on the matter. Generally, people make corrections in proofreading after a post is done. It’s more organic. Folks, like to post their thoughts live as quick as possible, and then go back and fix it if there is any corrections that need to be made. I believe a 20-minute edit window would be more fair, although I believe no edit window is even necessary. But that's just my belief. Folks can take it or leave it.

Side Note:

Oh, and I cannot be the only person to say this before.

We are talking about a 5-minute time window involving making corrections in proofreading and not wrong attitudes here.

How did I veer so far off topic?
I am not sure what you are saying here.
You are quoting Scripture in James that does not apply to anything I stated.
I was talking about proofreading posts, and the limited time window we have on that.
Not sure what that has to do with what you brought up in James.

Whining about a short editing window is like blaming the gas station when your car runs out of gas.

Do you believe in a perfect Bible?
Is that not wise counsel to hold to that kind of belief?
The Bible itself teaches that the words of the Lord are pure words and that they will be preserved forever.

If you had had a super tiny gas tank where you had to fill up every five minutes, and you ran out, you could not blame a person for being frustrated if they did not plan their route correctly or carry an extra tank of gas in the back. There is a reason why gas tanks are larger. It’s more practical and normal. You are just being silly now.

Quit your whining and start dealing with reality. Proofread before you post. That’s the adult thing to do.
