There are around 45,000 denominations world-wide. I looked it up and about every site I looked at said that.

Why does Catholicism have differences in the way Mary is venerated, and in perpetual virginity, beliefs about everlasting punishment which they want to deny the invention of from Augustine?
I don't understand the question?

Not all catholics believe Mary should be venerated or had a perpetually shut birth canel. Nor do all Catholics believe in everlasting punishment which is a Catholic abomination.

There are different types of Catholicism that believe different thing. Just like denominations.

This is a classic Catholic argument but it goes nowhere. You can't say I shouldn't be held accountable for my robberies because there are so many murderers running around. As a follower of God's Son, I don't believe it's His will for there to be so many denominations and splinter groups. By the same token, it's not His will for Catholics to teach and practice the things they do either.

I also believe that it should not be this way, but it is.

What are you saying? That you agree Catholicism is a false religious system, but that's just the way it is so there's nothing you can do?

Lies get a lot of ink, and many are deceived. You should not believe something just because many say it.

That is a terrible miscalculation based on a lack of understanding perpetuated by, um, well, a dearth of knowledge.

Many sources say many things and many of those things are blatant falsehoods .

I have posted this before so am simply copy/pasting from an earlier post:

45,000 thousand: that is a false number based on an egregious misunderstanding.

That misunderstanding gets thrown around as if it were truth when it is not.
Even under the most liberal definition of what constitutes a denomination, there are
nowhere close to 33,000 - 45,000 denominations. Many of these groups are merely subgroups
of larger denominational groups such as Presbyterians, Methodists, Lutherans, or Baptists.

Evangelical apologist Eric Svendsen exposes the falsehood of this fabrication. Briefly:

Svendsen shows that the source of this figure is the World Christian Encyclopedia (David A. Barrett; Oxford
University Press, 1982). Barrett cites a figure of 20,780 denominations. Still, not all of them are Protestants.
According to Barrett, Protestants account for 8,196 (and incidentally, Roman Catholics account for 223).

However, even this figure of eight thousand Protestant denominations is misleading, for Barrett defines
"distinct denominations" as any group that might have a slightly different emphasis than another group.
The distinction is made on the basis of jurisdiction, rather than differing beliefs and practices.

Barrett breaks down the Protestant bloc into twenty-one major "traditions" which are much closer to what we usually
mean by the word "denominations." It is interesting that Roman Catholics are subdivided into sixteen such "traditions."

Svendsen concludes, "In short, Roman Catholic apologists have hurriedly, carelessly - and, as a result, irresponsibly - glanced
at Barrett's work, found a large number (22,189), and arrived at all sorts of absurdities that Barrett never concluded."

After reviewing all non-Catholic denominations my estimate was about 50 maximum.

But within Catholicism itself there are in fact various divisions. Now we have a major division with is those who wish to retain the Latin Mass (the traditional Mass) vs those who wish to go in a different direction with Novus Ordo (Ordinary Mass). But pope Francis wants to take the division further.

Pope intervenes again to restrict celebration of Latin Mass

The pope claims that keeping both forms of the Mass was creating division, but in fact he is the one creating division and animosity by trying to restrict or abolish the Latin Mass. There are large number of "traditionalist" Catholics who are very unhappy with this pope and have even called him a heretic. When Novus Ordo was introduced, both forms of Mass were to be accepted as valid. But Francis is a fake pope and doing everything to subvert his own religion.

Bible-believers know that the Mass itself is a subversion of the Lord's Supper.

You must have looked it up from Catholic sources. Don't believe everything they tell you. Actually... don't believe anything they tell you.

You cannot be a faithful Catholic and also reject the teachings of the Catholic "church" which include the sinlessness and perpetual virginity of Mary.

Better to reject Catholicism altogether and embrace the true gospel according to Scripture.

I mean, I agree that there shouldn't be so many denominations and division in Christianity.

They were not Catholic sources. I checked federal sources, Protestant sources, and more. None of them were Catholic.

You know how denominations work, right? Catholicism is broken into groups. There are some that don't worship Maria (Mary) and believe her as sinless.
