Miss the point much? The sacrificial system was in place for sinners. Jesus, never having been committed a sin, had no personal need of a system designed to remit sin.
I got the point, the poster said He had to partake in the law to fulfill it, yet never sacrificed one animal.

The point I was making that no one seemed to pick up on, that it does not say Christ was under the law of Moses. It just says “law” The law of God- the Ten Commandments- is not the same as the law of Moses according to God’s own Words Deut 4:13 Exo 34:28 Deut 5:22

God lived out the law- yes many from the law of Moses and even taught on the law of Moses like the greatest commandments but He also lived out and taught on the Ten Commandments. He never taught the Ten Commandments ended at the Cross, He taught not to break or teach others to break the least of these commandments as it affects our status in heaven.

Do you think they were eating tofu on the Passover?
I am not referring to the Passover. In the law of Moses they had to kill their own animal - there is no mention Jesus ever sacrificed animals in order to fufill it.

You have to participate to fulfill. Doesn't mean He needed it for Himself. Recall His baptism. He didn't need it either. He was perfectly clean, but told John it was to fulfill all righteousness.

Jesus lived to be our example. Yes, He didn’t need to have baptism but did so as our example. Jesus never sacrificed one animal.

You presume this. My guess is He did, though not for Himself. Otherwise, I don't believe all righteousness would have been fulfilled; much like all righteousness would not have been fulfilled if He wasn't baptized.

We are talking about Jesus. It does not say Jesus was born under the law of Moses unless one adds “Moses” when God’s Word did not.

The Ten Commandments is never called the law of Moses.

God called the unit of Ten “My commandments”. Exodus 20:6 and My covenant and after He wrote and spoke the Ten Commandments He added no more,

Deut 4:13 So He (God) declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to perform, the Ten Commandments; and He wrote them on two tablets of stone.

Exo 34:28 So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He (God) wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.

Deut 5:22 “These words the Lord spoke to all your assembly, in the mountain from the midst of the fire, the cloud, and the thick darkness, with a loud voice; and He added no more. And He wrote them on two tablets of stone and gave them to me.

Why does one believe they know better than God. God’s Ten Commandments is a stand alone unit written by the Authority of God, not man. We should trust Him at His Word. Moses is not God. Moses was a servant of God, but was human, just like you and me.
“We are talking about Jesus. It does not say Jesus was born under the law of Moses “

yes I know your arguments have become ridiculous you can’t accept that zgod gave the law to Moses then Moses gave it to the people …that’s the only reason it’s called “ the law of Moses “ it’s a reference to who wrote the book who was chosen as the one to mediate the covenant lol

“For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:17‬

Your response “ Moses didn’t give the law it doesn’t say the law of Moses on this scripture “

It’s ridiculous position you’ve taken

“And Moses told the children of Israel according to all that the LORD commanded Moses.”
‭‭Numbers‬ ‭29:40‬ ‭KJV‬‬

tbats why it’s called the law of Moses he’s the mediator

“For as many as are of the works of the law ( the law Moses the mediator gave them ) are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law ( the book Moses wrote filled with the Ten Commandments and all the subsections they create ) to do them.

But that no man is justified by the law ( that Moses wrote down from Sinai ) in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

… Wherefore then serveth the law?( given to Moses on Sinai ) It was added because of transgressions, ( that’s why it says thou shalt not kill thou shalt not steal ect )

till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; ( until Jesus came forth ) and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.( moses is the e mediator you would never accept the scriptures regarding the ordination of angelsso I won’t bother )

Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, ( Moses law given to him by god on Sinai ) but God is one. ( the gospel you have the son speaking for the father promising the holy spirit who are one )

But before faith came, we were kept under the law,( of Moses the one Moses mediated from sinai ) shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. ( In the gospel )

Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, ( the law led to the coming of the lord and the offer of salvstion to all who believe ) that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.”( the law of Moses given to him on Sinai for the children of Israel )
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:10-12, 19-20, 23-25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus lived to be our example. Yes, He didn’t need to have baptism but did so as our example. Jesus never sacrificed one animal.
The man without sin was baptized so the s with sin can be baptized in his name and have our sins remitted so when we die we aren’t in our sins

“I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

thatw why we get baptized remission of sins in his name who has no sin and died for ours

“Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭6:3-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

which also removes the law from the dead person

“Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭7:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The law produces the wrong fruit

“For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭7:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I did manage to rearrange my sock drawer in between posts. Later I'm looking forward to sitting outside and watching the grass grow.

Where is the passage where Jesus sacrificed one animal? He didn’t need to as the blood of the animals was always a placeholder pointing forward through faith to Jesus at the Cross. Our faith is through His blood looking back at the Cross. Through His blood He cleanses the world of sin- many never accept the free gift of Jesus by taking up their cross and dying with Him to our sins. Rom 6 He died to take the penalty, never died so we can continue breaking His law and keep sinning, otherwise He would have never had to die. Christ gave up everything so we could live, but when we choose our ways over Christs, it makes His Great Sacrifice in vain Mat 15:3-14 Mark 7:7-13.

You claim that the Law of God is not the same as the Law of Moses. Support your claim... without reference to the Ten Commandments.

Christ was certainly born under the Law of Moses. The Law of Moses was in effect from Sinai right through to Jesus' resurrection. You are making the silly claim that because Scripture does not say the words, "Jesus was born under the Law of Moses" that it isn't true.

Please read the scriptures below….if God added NO MORE after He gave the Ten Commandments that He calls My commandments, My covenant- not the law of Moses who are we to add to what He personally wrote and spoke?

Try supporting your claim WITHOUT REFERENCE TO THE TEN COMMANDMENTS.
You want me to prove the Ten Commandments is part of the law of Moses but not reference the Ten Commandments that shows God naming the Ten Commandments, never once calling it the law of Moses- He takes ownership and He added NO MORE to His commandments other that what He personally wrote and spoke- Ten Commandments and only the Ten were placed inside the ark, no other laws added.

Sorry I can’t help any further.
