Peter lived in Jerusalem. As one of the Apostles which were at Jerusalem.

Acts 8:14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

So when he says:

(1 Peter 5:13) The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son.

He's talking about the city where he is. He's talking about the remnant Church that is right in the middle of the aposatate Hebrew city of Jerusalem, where abominations abounded.

I am sorry but, these texts do not prove that Peter was living in Jerusalem when he wrote 1 Peter, they show that he was there when the church began though. Look at who he wrote to :-

Why did the Lord say he would REDEEM ALL ISREAL? SOunds just like what paul said, When the times of the gentiles has been completed. ALL ISREAL WILL BE SAVED.

Sound familiar? This is just what Ezekial prophesied. And paul warned us against this. WHen the times of the gentiles have been comlete (They forgot the end) ALL ISREAL WILL BE SAVED. and they will be RETURNED TO THERE LAND.

He wanred us not to be wise. to think we know it all. and can never be destroyed. That is exactly what Ezekial said about babylon. Do we want to be them??
