Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”

Was it in fleshly form or spiritual form 😋

Are you asking because you genuinely don't know, or because you think you do know?

Peter was in the flesh when he walked onwater. The lesson in this story is to not take your eyes off Jesus or we "sink".

Jesus answered your question.
He walked because of his faith and sank when that faith failed.
We don't have a clue what we might be able to do if we just had the faith of a mustard seed.
Think Jesus said as much.

Peter was not necessarily "in the flesh". To start with he believed Christ sufficiently to step out of the boat and on to the water. Bit a huge storm was raging, and he became fearful. And that is the reason why he began to go down. This was a natural human reaction and he succumbed to it. Most people would not even have tried to do what Peter did. Fear is the opposite of faith and his fear overcame his faith.

This sort of Christian belief frightens me a bit. I have actually experienced these sorts of “miracles”. The problem is that even the others involved in the impossible actions or who witnessed them kind of deny they happened. It’s scary to admit them.

Peter live up to his new name when he took his eyes off the Lord. Was this a prophecy? He sank like a stone.😂

John 1:
42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.

Amen.. faith the substance of things hopped for the evidence of things not seen. Without faith we can never please Him. Hmm one would think that would be talked about everywhere yet oddly its not. Then those that do and live it.. praise GOD glory to Jesus. Think about it they (12) saw so many things, wonders we have never seen. How many believe they have faith as much as a mustered seed.

All things are possible to them that believe. Faith.. Peter and John.. why look at us as if we did this by our own power. That name faith in that name healed this man. These signs shall follow them that believe. Abraham.. just believed no doubt. Just believed what God said "And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and this faith was credited to him [by God] as righteousness and as conformity to His will,” and he was called the friend of God. "

all of you or most of everyone knows by now, i prefer to give simple answers because i have big hands & big fingers & it's difficult for me to type so my simple answer is: peter walked on water by God's supernatural power thru a miracle. simple as that!

Miracles of God happen through us...
Not because of US or our faith or anything we think or don't think.

Peter was being taught a lesson. He wasn't fully trained as yet...barely started.
To claim that his ability to walk on water was his own doing is to limit God. To claim he sank because of fear again is to limit God. Peter was getting taught what would make him sink or float in life...not anything else. Jesus made him float and Jesus made him sink.(in this instance)

The metaphoric lesson was rough for Peter to grasp...this same lesson was repeated MANY TIMES. Even Paul had to go toe-to-toe with him on this issue of Law. Because Peter was very slow to really understand it.
