Saul of Tarsus was not saved on the road to Damascus.

This is because it was understood that if you believe, you will obey God's plan, which includes baptism.
If you don't believe, of course you won't follow God's plan, no need to mention that you would not be baptized... it is understood.

I agree, one must first believe..... Peter tells us that once you believe, you should be baptized, and you will receive the gift of the Spirit.... that's scripture.

But it didn't happen that way with Cornelius and his family. They received the Spirit and then were baptized.

Abraham is not my example because I live under the law of Christ. Abraham never has.
the scripture says Abraham in fact did receive and believe the gospel, and that we are his children if we are members of the faith.

Galatians 3:7-9
Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, [saying], In thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

Because that was a one-off event that Jesus himself did. Name another person that was saved without baptism? We'll wait...
The woman who washes Jesus’ feet at Simon the pharisee's house.
“Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”

The other guests began to say among themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?”

Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.””

Cornelius’s household.
“While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message. The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on Gentiles. For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God. Then Peter said, “Surely no one can stand in the way of their being baptized with water. They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.”

In addition, there are no Biblical records of the apostles being baptized or re-baptized after Jesus's resurrection.

Also, the paralytic lowered through the roof. The woman caught in adultery. The man who bowed his head and struck his breast and prayed. Zacchaeus.

again... simply because Jesus forgave her sins, does not mean she was saved. And, again, this was before the kingdom had even been established. Her sins were forgiven, just like the Jews' sins were forgiven after an animal sacrifice. She was saved from being stoned to death under the law.... There had been no permanent sacrifice for all sins yet.... Jesus even told her, go, and sin no more.

again..... Cornelius' household received the Spirit SPECIFICALLY to prove a point to the Jewish believers, who did not want to allow them to be baptized into Jesus.... it's very clear in the scripture.... Peter said, How can we refuse to baptize them, because God SHOWED us they were acceptable by giving them the Spirit... this was an extra-ordinary salvation event...... and THEY WERE BAPTIZED immediately after Peter said that.

You got the wrong woman in mind. This is not the woman who was to be stoned. Jesus clearly meant SALVATION.
Here’s the account in Luke 7.

A Sinful Woman Forgiven
36 Then one of the Pharisees asked Him to eat with him. And He went to the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to eat. 37 And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, 38 and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil. 39 Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke to himself, saying, “This Man, if He were a prophet, would know who and what manner of woman this is who is touching Him, for she is a sinner.”
40 And Jesus answered and said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.”
So he said, “Teacher, say it.”
41 “There was a certain creditor who had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. 42 And when they had nothing with which to repay, he freely forgave them both. Tell Me, therefore, which of them will love him more?”
43 Simon answered and said, “I suppose the onewhom he forgave more.”
And He said to him, “You have rightly judged.”44 Then He turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head. 45 You gave Me no kiss, but this woman has not ceased to kiss My feet since the time I came in. 46 You did not anoint My head with oil, but this woman has anointed My feet with fragrant oil. 47 Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.”
48 Then He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”
49 And those who sat at the table with Him began to say to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?”
50 Then He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”

Yes, and that has been addressed and answered many, many times.
OSAS, the trinity, election, female pastors on and on and on have been discussed many, many times. It has been discussed but not acknowledged that they were saved first then baptized by water.

 I don't see a connection here with OSAS, trinity, etc...

It's by no means a "trick question".

It is a rather logical question to your affirmation.

I believe in salvation through obedience hence I would answer the following question as such:

Does obedience to the Word of God come before or after salvation?

I would answer "before". See no trick.

There is no reason to not answer the question...unless you see the unjustifiable reasoning behind such a notion.
Calvinism creates a fatigue with its dependence on doctrine, that creates a void where the Holy Spirit would normally aid.

As I actually believe a perfect explanation that would satisfy all with regards to predestined, chosen and choice (which is
obvious throughout scripture) has yet to be forthcoming, I find no trouble in resisting a god who chooses some for salvation
and others, most if I understand what some say, to burn like wood, never having the opportunity to even refuse what God, who
is actually God, offers.

I know what your answer is. I do not believe it to be found in scripture.

Yes, I saw your comments. We agreed that baptism doesn't save. And that if a person died before they could be baptized, they would still be saved. I had an uncle die of cancer, a born again friend of his led him to the Lord. He died before he could be baptized, I have no doubt he is in heaven today.

I’m sorry again, but nowhere does it mention she was due to get stoned.

Please read the passage again. Jesus said she was saved, not from stoning, but specifically from the fate of her sins. Which were many.

Cmon buddy, You said the thief on the cross was a one off special exception. It has definitively proven that he wasn’t.

I never knew you were a person must be water baptized to be saved kinda guy.

That is news to me.

There would be no reason for Jesus to state so clearly that: "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned." (Mark 16:16) if the remission of sins comes before baptism.

There would be no reason for Peter to state so clearly that: " Peter answered them, “All of you must turn to God and change the way you think and act, and each of you must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins will be forgiven. Then you will receive the Holy Spirit as a gift" (Acts 2:38) if the remission of sins came before baptism.

There would be no reason for you to be compelled to add "only" into every verse you use to protect your theology.

I let the verses speak as written, you on the other hand must always "read between the lines" on your understanding of the verses.

Reading your verses does not "prove" your theology unless a definitive is added.

And this is the flaw in all Faith Alone Regeneration Theology.
