I suppose it's dependent on how you define "problems".

2 Tim 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Paul had "a messenger of satan" to buffet him.

He was stoned, beaten with rods, shipwrecked.
The only thing to fear is hell, which is the consequences of our sins.

If we repent of our sin, then the consequences of our sins disappear.

What you don't seem to grasp is that when we repent unto salvation by acting on Romans 10:9, we are saved from hell. Period. From that point on, it is a walk with God, earning, or sometimes losing, rewards. Once we are saved, we do not keep our salvation by "being good".

When we sin, we experience the consequences of that sin:

[17] "Yet your people say, `The way of the Lord is not just'; when it is their own way that is not just.
[18] When the righteous turns from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, he shall die for it.
[19] And when the wicked turns from his wickedness, and does what is lawful and right, he shall live by it.
[20] Yet you say, `The way of the Lord is not just.' O house of Israel, I will judge each of you according to his ways." Ezekiel 33:17-20 RSV

Try reading something from the church epistles. The books of the bible addressed TO Christians.

Romans 8:
38) For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39) Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Eph 1:13) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

I fear only God, even if we were to walk through the shadow of death we fear no evil if God is with us. However fearing to displease God and fearing to sin against His laws is godly fear. there is a difference between godly fear and worldly fear.

chastening is never pleasant but necessary...

2 Corinthians 7:10-12
New King James Version (NKJV)
10 For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. 11 For observe this very thing, that you sorrowed in a godly manner: What diligence it produced in you, what clearing of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what vehement desire, what zeal, what vindication! In all things you proved yourselves to be clear in this matter. 12 Therefore, although I wrote to you, I did not do it for the sake of him who had done the wrong, nor for the sake of him who suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear to you.

You argue for the sake of arguing.

When talking to humans, angels talk the language they understand. Who knows what language angels speak amongst themselves. I don't. I don't think you do either.
Stop using the angels line please, your making a fool of yourself.

There is nothing wrong with edifying yourself. Tongues is good for edifying yourself. (1 Cor 14:4) Paul said he spoke in tongues more that the corinthian church.

...take it up with Paul.
If your mummy said 'here, take this bag of sweets....if you eat them all yourself it will be yummy for you...but if you share them with your friends they will be yummy for everyone'....

..what would be the lesson to learn from this instruction?

That sweets are yummy for you alone?

So do you prophesy?
Sure I do I'm FORTHtelling the Word of God for you right here!

No, I'm quoting the bible.

1 Cor 13:1) Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels,...

If your mummy said 'here, take this bag of sweets....if you eat them all yourself it will be yummy for you...but if you share them with your friends they will be yummy for everyone'....

..what would be the lesson to learn from this instruction?

No, you're not. You're trying to say tongues is the "gift of languages", and that Christians today are not to do it, that it "died" with the apostles.

That is not the Word of God.

If you sin, the Lord will discipline you. That is, he will allow you to experience the consequences of your sin. It is for you own good. It can be terribly unpleasant.

I am trying to impress upon everybody the importance of repentance. If you repent you experience no unpleasantness at all.

yes I agree with most of what you say except for this statement "If you repent you experience no unpleasantness at all."

I believe that we should not obey God just because we wish to avoid "unpleasantness" we should follow Him out of love and obedience.

If repentance is an insurance policy that you don't have to suffer how do you explain the death of marytrs in the Bible?

How do you explains these Bible verses?

Matthew 5:10
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

1 Corinthians 4:11-13
New King James Version (NKJV)
11 To the present hour we both hunger and thirst, and we are poorly clothed, and beaten, and homeless. 12 And we labor, working with our own hands. Being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we endure; 13 being defamed, we entreat. We have been made as the filth of the world, the offscouring of all things until now.

I think it is unwise to get people to repent for their own benefit and not out of obedience and LOVE for God and His commandments.

James 4:3-5
New King James Version (NKJV)
3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. 4 Adulterers and[a] adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”?

I believe God gives us blessings not for our own pleasures but to show love for others and they do the same and in this way all are taken care of and God's name will be glorified and our lives will be a witness to the world.

Good for you! Another correct statement. That's what, 3 now?

You dont do what the apostles did, you babble GIBBERISH.
Why are you capitalizing it now? I do believe you're doing it solely to irritate me.

You're still wrong.

Things that can be beneficial for many people are best when shared. Things that are beneficial only for you are not to be shared.

Death and persecution are nothing to fear—we are all going to die. Fear the consequences of sin, because they can be awful.

So where does talking gibberish fall into this?

Is it something that is beneficial only for you or for many?

Paul says speaking in a tongue only edifies yourself but prophesying (proclaiming Gods Word WELL) edifies the whole congregation.

Thats what he says in one single verse.

The lesson is obviously not to speak in a foreign tongue but to prophecie instead!

The lesson is NOT that talking gibberish on your own is good.

Any sane person can clearly see this.

Nowhere. Tongues is not gibberish.

Tongues, unless interpreted, is only beneficial for you.

Paul says speaking in a tongue only edifies yourself but prophesying (proclaiming Gods Word WELL) edifies the whole congregation.
You're on a roll. Four right.

Thats what he says in one single verse.
Yep. Tongues is for the believer (unless interpreted). Prophesy is for the church.

The lesson is obviously not to speak in a foreign tongue but to prophecie instead!
In a meeting, yes.

The lesson is NOT that talking gibberish on your own is good.
Tongues is not gibberish. Speaking in tongues benefits the individual believer. It clearly says so in the bible.

Any sane person can clearly see this.
Any sane person will clearly see that it is God's will for believers to speak in tongues.
"I would that ye all spake with tongues...".

What you don't seem to grasp is that when we repent unto salvation by acting on Romans 10:9, we are saved from hell. Period. From that point on, it is a walk with God, earning, or sometimes losing, rewards. Once we are saved, we do not keep our salvation by "being good".

This is a very dangerous teaching. There are many people in hell who thought this way. I am saved right now. If I was to go off and kill someone and not repent I would not go to heaven. To teach other wise is wrong.

Plus there are many who use the Jesus card just in case all of this is true about God, heaven and hell. They say I believe in Jesus just in case it may be all true and they don't care one bit about Jesus.

There are people who loved God and obeyed for many years then there first love became money or they started fooling around with the neighbors wife. Repent is in the bible to mean repent. Stop and change. God is God of justice. Many will be shocked to find out they aren't getting into heaven. The Lord will not let them in. It is written. God is not some free ticket to do what ever you want and you still get into heaven. Stop teaching this lie. People need to obey God that's in the bible too.

Your right we don't earn Gods love. God loves people. God is not going to love me more tomorrow if I do some wonderful thing. But God still loves people even when they chose to go to hell. The once saved always saved is a lie form hell and Satan is laughing his head off while people are going to hell over this stupid teaching. Stick to the word of God which says to repent. Not mans teaching that says you can do what ever you want and still go to heaven. The blood that washes is the starting place to go on and want with all your heart and soul to obey God.

No we don't run around with quilt oh God I did this wrong today God is mad at me. But if we are out of line with God he tells us right away. We decide if we listen to God or we give excuse and do what we want no matter what God says. We reap what we sow. I ask you to pray about this. Your teaching says Judas is in heaven. I say he is in hell. Judas walked with God. He was taught by God first hand. The Pharisees walked right by God. They called him liar. There not in heaven. Lot of people here call everything of God a lie. I pray they repent. I would study repentance and obeying God. Few go to heaven it is written.

Oh boy....

Its all about foreign languages..

And the statement compares using a foreign language with prophesying. And says that we should not use a foreign language cuz it only edifies yourself.

Stop trying to use scripture to justify horrendously unbiblical and, I'll say it.....DEMONIC activities.
