I see a lot of heresy in this thread. Everyone not drinking their coffee black should repent.
I would rather have a black coffee with sweetener than a coffee with cream and no sweetness...

I use stevia instead of sugar... or Splenda/Truvia mixes... monk fruit
is sold as a sugar substitute also but I do not care for it so much.

I use evaporated skim milk in my coffee at work and at home, and cream if having coffee out.

And I ain't repenting of that LOL :giggle:

We have a Keurig at work, but I normally have fresh ground beans done in a French press.

Putting the kettle on to boil is the first thing I do when I get to work... :D

@seoulsearch ...Good morning...
This is what I do...I crack egg into a bowl , deep bowl , you can use all the egg or just the yolk...Then I pour my hot coffee over the egg or spoonful of butter , and blend it all together with electric blender...The egg does not cook :giggle:...I also add sometimes Beef bone broth ( Powdered ) This is a good protein also , but always check the ingredients when buying , as some companies add chemicals...xox...

I'm with hornetguy. I'll just have a couple (or six) eggs scrambled. Except I may swap his tony sachery (sp?) stuff, good as it may be, with a little salsa and sour cream on top.

Except today I am eating my egg as part of a bowl of homemade chocolate pudding. Yum!

Somebody told me that too much stevia and sucralose (splenda) will hurt your prostate. But the guy who told me that was an uncle who is real big on conspiracy theories.

I asked him what it does to women and he just shrugged. So I guess y'all are in the clear.

Maybe sucralose.... but Stevia is a natural plant sweetner, so I don't know how that would cause prostate issues... I'm also not a urologist (and I don't play one on TV) .... I don't use any kind of artificial sweeteners... I do my best to use honey, or monkfruit to sweeten things....or minimal amounts of brown sugar, as in oatmeal....

Uh oh.

I use both of those every morning.

If my doctor's test start showing there's something wrong with my (non-existent) prostate, I'll know what happened. o_O

In the meantime, I still have to figure out what to do about my growing beard...

(That's actually only a partial joke... One of the symptoms of PCOS in women is that they can grow excessive facial hair and have other masculine features because of elevated testosterone levels. Fortunately, that's not one of my symptoms.)

Thank you so much for sharing this, @Rosemaryx. ❤️❤️❤️

This morning I used half an egg, a pat of butter, a sprinkle of cinnamon, plus my regular sweetener and powdered milk (that I use for creamer.) I whisked it by hand in a bowl, then added the hot coffee.

The final product was a wonderfully rich, almost custard-y-like flavor (but didn't taste like egg,) and an extra creamy consistency (very smooth and pleasant to drink.)

I'm going to use this trick when I'm in a hurry and need the protein boost, or when I don't want to use a protein shake (this coffee mixture tastes a whole lot better and of course, is much more natural.)

Thank you again -- I really like this as a quick breakfast option if I don't have time to fix anything!

Egg? In hot liquid?!

*Lynx takes a sip of his homemade boiled custard...

Why didn't I think of that? :p

(I'm still not gonna drink coffee though... Although a coffee flavored boiled custard might be good.
