NOT fair!!

That chicken is so adorable, I'm going to want to hug it.

And that means I'm going to let her get close enough to whop me a good one every. single. time.

I vote for a different strategy! (Let me have the chicken all to myself while @Snackersmom goes around whopping everybody.)
Strategy is determined by weaponry. I do suggest alot of body armor for you.

I have reserved comment in this thread to see if there were actual pillow fight veterans in the mix. I am sadly disappointed. An actual pillow fight veteran would know that a pillow fight combatant would always have 2 pillows. The first would be large to shield oneself from other combatant's attacks. The other would be longer to strike your foe as you defend.
Perhaps it's just me, but I'm not sure there are many combatants with much actual pillow warfare experience.
Did you miss the pic of my combatant holding two pillows???

You are going to get picked last unfortunately. If the unicorn lights up we might be able to use it as a distraction.

Now even I have to admit, this WOULD make for a very interesting "Hot Potato" Bonus Round...

We'd all have to see how fast we could throw the light-up, musical unicorn to somebody else -- because whoever gets caught holding it for that round -- gets all the whuppings.

It would be interesting to see how fast people could toss that poor little guy around...

(Little would they know I would have a second unicorn as a decoy -- and I'd be throwing it at people who had caused me grief during the other rounds.) :devilish:

Not that I hold grudges or anything.

My confidence isn't exactly at an all-time high here, people.

Cameron seems to be indicating more and more and with every post that my chances of getting out of this fight intact aren't looking very good.

You are obviously the exception, and not the rule. You will be a high draft pick.
I even had my little Luna in the pic/sidelines, so that when the feathers fly, she can get some fur flying also .:devilish::ROFL:

And maybe get in a claw or two LOLOLOLOLOLOL

She also bites .:giggle::coffee::coffee::coffee:

Move over, Caitlin Clark.

We've heard through the grapevine that Nike is already inking an endorsement deal with Magenta.

Obviously! ;)

Winston is ALL for seeing feathers fly -- just as long as none of them are his.:cry::cool:

I'm just trying to help you come up with a strategy that minimizes your weaknesses and plays to your strengths.
Since you have alot of stuffed animals perhaps you can remain in the rear and throw stuffed animals into the fray. But keep your head on a swivel. You never know when @Snackersmom will be lurking about.

Nice. Forming alliances is an important part of successful strategy.

So I came back to check my notifcations for this thread and happened to see the green checkmark of agreement ✅under Cameron's post.

And I immediately thought, "Hey, who's the wiseguy that agrees with Cameron that I'm going to need A LOT of body armor?!!"

So I check and I see that the person who's agreeing with that sentiment is... @Snackersmom.

You know, the only person who's been whopping anyone in this would-be pillow-fighting thread and to my knowledge, never misses...

Snackers, is it too late to try to call a truce?

Maybe we'll even have time to grab lunch!

That little fox is just CALLING OUT TO ME... ARGH. (I'm apparently a sucker for pointed ears.)

But, but... just look at his little snout. He's just absolutely BECKONING me with soft lulls of, "Take me home -- I'll cuddle you and keep you warm!"

And seriously -- at my age, what more can a single woman ask for?! :D

Must. Somehow. Find the Power. To Resist. :(
Renart, the fox? I agree, I think it was Gojira that had coined the phrase "his nose looks so 'boopable'."

I've been successful in not hugging any of the four that had arrived today, and the penguin is still in transit. And I'll be okay with that as long as I don't name any of them. If I do that, then it's over, and I would have to hug it, and keep it and... but, I had plans to gift them (except maybe the sloth... I might have to keep the sloth for myself, ... or the cow... or ) Idk though. This is reminiscent of the time I got the 2021 Limited Edition Do-Your-Best Care Bear collection in expectation of the arrival of three grandchildren, and I gave each of their expectant mothers and my daughter one of them and kept Loves a Lot for myself. But then, my granddaughter cubnapped it as soon as she spotted it and was able to climb onto my office chair! As you see, it (the pink one) was quite irresistible so, I don't want to get too attached to any of them just yet.

I actually was that guy. It's amazing what people can accomplish when someone gets encouragement. I believe you can become an excellent whopper.
An excellent whopper?

Are you calling Kim a sandwich? "I went down to Burger King and got an excellent whopper."

Or are you calling her a lie? "My son told me a whopper yesterday so he can't use his phone for a week."

Neither kind of whopper is excellent though...

That depends on your character build. Anybody who has played RPGs knows there are many different fightning styles. Your "sword & board" is one viable option, but there are many others.

Some people prefer two-handed swords, like my preferred bollard pillow. Can't wield those one-handed. Some prefer ranged attacks with a lot of small projectile pillows. Some prefer a "tower shield" strategy with body pillows they can hold in front of them to defend all attacks until they are close enough to pounce on the opponent and wrap him up in the massive pillow.

If you think your sword & board style is the only style, you are my favorite dish. People who consider their preferred style to be the only viable option are the easiest to take out, because they never see the best attacks coming from other styles.

That does it! I didn't want to have to use this, but you've forced it out of me
Another one I simply must have... This time for my uncle Brent. He takes pride in his farts for some reason.

It's also a good strategy to have the foe underestimate you. You will see...@seoulsearch will surprise people with her newfound strategy and skills.

If you paid attention you would know that I have been developing strategies for a number of people according to their strengths and weaknesses. You will probably be a good field commander and artillery leader.

Thank you, no. Too much stress.

I will be either a bombardier with water balloons or supply line manager rounding up additional pillows and sending them to the front lines.
