??

Uh... Yes, if you pop in and spout off a comment that has nothing at all to do with anything this thread is about, that really IS totally inimportant.

I understand what happened. You read the thread title and slammed out a reply, without bothering to read the first post which detailed what the thread was really about. It happens.

That's why I took the time to inform you that this thread is about killing insects, not about what defines someone as good or bad.
He's been a bit of a pest on this thread.

I woke up tonight because some insect made a lot of noise in my bedroom. I used my electric mosquito buster to hunt it down and I experienced a feeling of true joy when the insect got electrocuted.

It got me wondering. Am I a bad girl for feeling joyful when a creature of God is going down in flames?

What constitutes a bad girl/guy?
Could be that It was just a stress reliever from someone or something else that Influenced your inward man to express an emotion that could be seen outwardly.

I feel bad when I smash an ant though.😂

I have a distinct bias against multi-legged arthropods. The more legs they have the more justified I feel in killing them. Though I'll grudgingly admit they have their role to pkay so I don't seek them out to destroy them before they make themselves a problem for me.

That's a clear typology of Satan falling from heaven like lightning if I've ever seen one.

no. killing insects is quite needful at times. no harm done. & btw, there are 2,000,000,000 insects for every square mile!!! yes, that's true. however, entertaining a "victory" mindset could lead to conditioning a vengeful attitude in action & that's not proper.

Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways???

Mosquitos of the world, repent! Wasps of the world, repent! Turn, turn, turn I say, turn from your wicked ways!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hear ye, hear ye, all mosquitos, spiders, beetles, cockroaches, ticks, fleas, and vermin: Repent!!!

No? Okay. Death to you. "SQUISH* With apologies to God...

You and Magenta are both so literal sometimes...

It was a joke.

Hmph. You have no idea of the unholy joy I get when I kill a wasp that wandered inside.

Red wasps have no sense of personal space and they will sting you if they feel like it. They don't wait for provocation. So I take delight in killing them whenever they come indoors. They should stay outside and sting flowers and leaves and stuff.
After reading your post, my eyes just naturally went to the next line and this is what I thought it said:
"Do you sting at church?"
"Yes I sting at church. And I sting at work. And I sting at home... and in the car... at the supermarket... at Wal-Mart..."

Hey that was actually me pulling my punch. Somebody in chat suggested something VERY supercilious to say, but I didn't have the heart to say it to Karlon.
