I have'nt found one but I think it would br good if there was a Forum to talk about the extra biblical books we are reading like : Christian living , Theology , History , Apologetics , Creation , science and the like.

I think it might be useful. Just my 2 cents

Adding new subforums is extremely rare. The number of options are purposefully limited.
There would also have to be a high enough demand, or viable reason to add one. And in some cases even that doesn't work.
Most people that suggest a new subforum can't even keep a single thread up on the subject.

Yeah I looked at that. looks more like an argument than anything else.
I've been reading a lot of the puritans like : Owen , Flavel , Boston , Goodwin and others oh and don't forget Spurgeon. I can say reading the KJV is easier than reading Owen. I havent got my thoughts together on it yet I want to cover more ground with these authors before i post. Thank you for the heads up.

Yeah, well... The guy who started it was kind of argumentative.

He is banned though, so there's no reason it could not be repurposed for good. :cool:

Here's a Free copy of a book. The author was a historian. He had a collection of rare old books about church history. Unlike many, it didn't start with the reformation or the "church fathers." He's a Southern Baptist if I remember right and has that bias, however it's worth the short read for anybody who wants a view of non Catholic church history prior to the Reformation. He taught a series and someone transcribed it into the following, which makes it a quick easy read too.

I enjoy reading Christian fiction. At any given time I'll be in the middle of at least a couple of books; one audion and one ebook. Here's a site called Librivox that has been turning public domain books into audio format. I've been listening to Christian fiction books by Pansy written in the latter 1800s. The books are all in the public domain and are free to download.

Hey thank you 1 I've been bobarding myself with doctrin , theology and other serous studies . It will be good to loosen up a little.
 
Any read Geroge Muller? I'm starting on his biography but the summary is fascinating.

Yes. Amazing man, especially in light of modern Christianity's money obsession. I learned something from his life and testimony. For example, I do not have a "donate" facility on my websites. God meets my every need without me advertising it.
