As I posted earlier, cracking down on corporate price gouging is neither "price control" nor communist.
It's no different than busting companies or people for gouging during natural disasters.
And communist governments don't crack down on corporate practices because there are no private businesses in communism!
Because they're not. Some folks seem to define communism as "anything the government does that I don't like".
Let's see your evidence for that.

1 of the issues that resulted in high prices are the unions. I use GM as an example. My father retired from GM and I was all pro anything chevy, however, their product went downhill. The prices went up while the quality went down. When you got right down to it, they were paying people 100,000.00 a year to turn a screwdriver on a line. How were they even suppose to compete with other companies that did not pay their workers this much? they could not. they had to buy cheaper parts. And ended up closing a bunch of stores. In Fact, they ended up going bankrupt. I would not buy a chevy now for nothing.
2. Workers wages. Fast food workers demanded higher waged. They finally were given them, but someone has to pay for this,, so now we have prices of fast food tripled in just a few short years
3. The stock market. I work for a global diesel company. My company used to be owned by a local men who ran his company as a customer focused business. This kept prices down. and kept us competitive, About 5 years ago. the mother company bought all of the local distributors out to make us one big happy family. the problem is it is owned by the "system" and instead of being a customer focused business, out business is making our stockholders happy by making them money. This is actually the second company I have worked for that had this happen (K-Mart went to this kind of business and bought a few companies out like builders square, which I worked for while going to college) and both ended up crashing and burning, because they could not compete.
4. The biggest issue is handouts, No one wants to work, because they get paid to stay at home. Its amazing they say unemployment is down, yet I have had multiple positions open for year. and my wife and keep people in her business, because no one wants to work,
5. Don't even get me started on Healthcare..
6. Finally we have the banking system. Give people loans they really can;t afford.. in doing so you make yourself richer, and people can charge more for their products, and make themselves richer, and it is a market that is out of tough with reality, But due to the greed of the people. who refuse to fight high prices, because why fight, I can get a loan, prices will nto come down due to greed.
this issue is just like the church has lost its way, in being a family, a body of people.. it has become more individualistic. Thats what has happened to this country. It is all about me,, Thats why LGBTQ has gone off the charts. thats why Black lives matters and Antifa did what they did in the name of what they wanted. (and by the way, both democrats running for pres/vice president, were pro these riots. In fact, we have kamila on tape saying she was for them, they had a mission, and she hoped they continued.
