Yes, Jodi Foster, Matthew McConaughey (playing her love interest as a man of the cloth devoid of the cloth [haha]), Tom Skerritt (her arch nemesis), John Hurt (who funds her SETI project... he played the guy in Alien who was inhabited by the alien), Jena Malone (as the younger version of Jody's character), David Morse (as her father), James Woods (as the government agent who took over her project once contact had been established), and Larry King. Heh. My fave line is when she is in the capsule watching "some celestial event"... completely awestruck, she says "No words can describe it. Poetry... they should have sent a poet.
