“you make salvation to be conditioned on the actions of men. That negates grace and...not of works or yourself.”

so I need to change the words in the Bible or I’m misrepresenting the Bible ?

Jesus set the conditions for salvation not me

i just believe what it actually says and don’t create reasons why it’s not right

i wouldn’t change anything in scriptire to fit my idea of grace sister I want to learn the grace that God gave us that does teach us to act right

“For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.

It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.”
‭‭Titus‬ ‭2:11-14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Grace isn’t an excuse to reject the things Jesus taught us to do and repent of its the things he taught us that’s grace when we begin to accept it
Were you saved by grace or not?
Are there actions on our part in response to the work of God in salvation? Of course. These outward actions reflect an inward change. But do they cause salvation? No.

Romans 10-13 + Galatians 3:5~ Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
Does God lavish His Spirit on you and work miracles among you because you obey the law, or because you hear and believe?

:)
It had taken away to se
Amen.

The call is to believe, it does not state I will first give you the "gift of belief" and then you will believe.
I see, said the blind person to the deaf person
it starts at first belief, God comes in and begins the new life in us each Eph 1:1-13
6,7, 13 stand out to me
Accepted, forgiven and sealed
Then I see Phil 1:6 that God continues in us, to show us and not condemn us or make us feel guilt or pride anymore either, that is, what the first born nature (Flesh) does, promotes guilt and pride in us, when God by Son Jesus, the two as Won (One) took it all for us to believe and thus be new in God's Spirit and Truth (John 4:23-24)
Amazing grace given us to abide in as sufficient for us (2 Cor. 12:7-10), not of work(s) for then one would have reason to boast as God does not boast, the God I have come to know, never forsaking me, never leaving me or anyone else either, even those that have chosen the self to be in charge consciously. God continues to love us all y'all
This love overcomes and overcame evil forever.
Amazing grace, thank you Lord Jesus to God Father of my lord Jesus, now our Lord too as is revealed in John 20 to me, as Jesus said he had to go to his Father to Mary, now her Father and I see this truth, our Father also, Amazing grace

How can one hear with uncircumcised ears? How can one believe with an uncircumcised heart?

Jesus gave the answer many refuse to hear = With man it is impossible.

Who is it Who circumcises the heart and ears? Who opens the eyes of the blind?
God has done this to open the eyes of the blind

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;

but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s preached for everyone all these people

“for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:

Those who believe the gospel will be saved , those who reject the gospel will not be saved from the second death.

It can save anyone but will not force anyone to be saved or damned it’s life and death places before us if we don’t believe it isn’t gods fault He’s willing to save everyone wants us to be saved . He placed a choice in front of us he’s already provided everything we need to be saved

We have to accept it and believe

“Were you saved by grace or not?”

not this grace that is built from a false doctrine no

“For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.”
‭‭Jude‬ ‭1:4‬ ‭NIV‬‬

But by Jesus gospel and Gods grace that teaches us to repent and live right yes

“For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.

It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,”
‭‭Titus‬ ‭2:11-12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

i don’t invent a grace that denies the things Jesus said about salvation is the difference I understand that his teachings are what teaches us to repent and live upright lives before it’s too late

so yeah brother I believe I shall be saved that day by his amazing grace that’s found in Christ Jesus and the true gospel that calls sinners who believe him to repentance and life

I agree with all those scriptures. Notice it was salvation that is the means of all that follows.

@Cameron143 believes the inward change must occur first, before belief.
As it was not you who made yourself alive in Christ while you were yet dead in your trespasses and sins... Although it does seem you do like to think so.

Whoever does not believe, has no chance. The object of faith being, Father and Son as Won for us on that cross for us, at least me, as well as all others that believe as well, as God knows everything, who do and who do not, I see to rest in that.
Those that do believe, will willingly get baptized by God over man. yet will do that water too as a good conscience towards God, yet, not for the people too applaud them or to be a member of any particular earth church, from what I see about pride, what it does or had done to me anyways
thanks that was a good ?
Belief, then the new enters and one begins to grow new in love and mercy given them

I’m not sure I understand what he’s saying to be honest.
I think, what he is saying is:
One has to become perfect, before one can truly believe
It is a work mentality, of one having to do as Jesus did, yet gets forgiven over and over again, if repents over and over again, then one continues to serve, to be perfect as Son is perfect
Galatians has a lot to say about works to get in and keep in it.
Not totally sure either, conjecturing, However, I love this fact, God does not forsake anyone
I stand in trust to God to teach me new and am in process seeing. this truth, amazing grace is sufficient

amen only certain damnation

i can’t understand what you mean I’m sorry

“thanks that was a good ?

again im not clear what you mean but do agree with love and mercy that’s always a good combination brother

you know something that tangibly we can do that causes believers grow in faith ?

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

when we as believers make it about the things Jesus told us to believe and do on the gospel , that causes believers who are born anew when they first believe the gospel to grow up and mature moving from the milk in gods word to the adult food the nest and potatoes and repentance righteousness that’s taught

If we would discuss what the lord taught, the word will make us grow in faith and spirit of we believe

Do people believe before they hear the gospel? No. God sends preachers...God's initiative. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God...God's initiative.
Not everyone who physically hears the gospel believes. Why not, if the word of God produces hearing? Because the word of God alone does not produce faith. The gospel must be accompanied by the Spirit of God. We are birthed from above by water and the Spirit...John 3. It takes both the word of God and the Spirit of God to produce salvation. Again, this is initiated by God.

No. I'm saying one has to be made alive before they can respond.
