According to Drs I've studied under, those tests are often inaccurate. I look at the source (MDs aka Murder Doctors) and add their motives for financial gain (ie C Sections, $ for dismembering children) and say, home births with a good experienced mid wife is the best option if I were married.
Trumps problem is thus: in the crevasses of his mind, he seeks affirmation. Everything is a popularity contest. Not necessarily bad, but not from his adversaries and enemies. Like the moderators.
I would have put them in their place just as you say. But somewhat more deftly, then I would have taken command of the situation.

Second, the articles state what I described earlier, namely that Harris was tasked with looking into the root causes of migration and establishing strategic relationships with some Central and South American countries. But none of them show where the White House gave her the title of "Border Czar" or referred to her as such.
As you noted, one media outlet did refer to her as a "Border Czar" but hopefully we agree that that's not an official designation, title, or job description.
So overall, Harris was not designated by the White House as a "Border Czar", nor was she given that title by any government entity. A media outlet referred to her as such.

I'm hoping that all of us can do that. We're certainly capable.
I think a lot of people are fed up with what has effectively become an oligarchy (rule by the rich). Over my lifetime, too many government policies were geared towards the super rich and large corporations (mostly under the "trickle down economics" belief), which didn't deliver the results as promised. It just made the rich richer, put most of the country's wealth in the pockets of the 1%, favored enormous corporations at the expense of small businesses, and stagnated the middle class.
I very much doubt billionaire Trump and his venture capitalist VP Vance are the people to reverse that trend. During his last term, he actually furthered the oligarchy by giving huge tax breaks to billionaires and corporations, and stacking his Cabinet with Wall St. execs. And this time around he's promising even more!
So yes I agree, a lot of regular Americans are frustrated. Is the solution to give more money to billionaires and corporations? Not in my view.

overwhelm the system, create chaos, force a political crisis. it's being done very effectively, stealthily, and yes, craftily, and most of us don't appear to realize it.
this is what Mr. Obama meant by "fundamental transformation". if the Lord doesn't, in some way, put a stop to it, i believe it will be the end of the Republic.
