God chooses us.
Our decisions dont effect whether God predestinates us to salvation.
God doesnt look into the future and base His eternal plan on decisions that random people make concerning their faith.
All glory for our salvation goes to God ALONE.
Any freewill decisions we make regarding the acceptance of Jesus as Lord are made BECAUSE OF Gods decision to predestinate us as sheep.
That is why salvation is a gift of God...and not something achieved IN ANY WAY by man.
Now your turn. tell us in your own words whether you agree or disagree and use supporting scripture if you like.

God "chooses" everyone. He is drawing all men. He wants all men to be saved. It is entirely our decision whether to accept salvation or not.
God did not "predestinate" individual believers for salvation. He planned for Christianity from before the foundation of the world. When people choose to do what is required, confess and believe, they become a Christian.
This is true. God's plans will come to pass regardless of what man does.
Yes. God is the author of salvation. It is to His glory that He loves us so much He made a way for any man to be saved. But to be saved, each man must make the decision to believe.
That is not true. Individual people are not predestined for anything except death, unless they choose to believe. God did not determine ahead of time who would be saved and who wouldn't.
To receive the gift of salvation, each man must choose to believe.

I'm a hyper-super-Calvinist.
I believe Christians were predestined to be saved before the foundations of the Earth and even before God knew it, and they will be, regardless of Gods willpower.

I thought God was omnisceint, which means he not only knows all things that will happen, but could happen. He knows everything from the begining of time till the end. including the hair that you will have, long before time even began.
I guess My God is not all knowing?
Oh wait. I mean your god. My God knows all things. knew it before he even created the heavans and earth.
