That is not an interpretation but a misinterpretation and a dodge.

Nowhere in the Bible will you find that succeeding generations of any righteous man were all righteous. Even Noah's son Ham was unrighteous: And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without. (Gen 9:22). Therefore Canaan was cursed by Noah: And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. (Gen 9:25)

Furthermore, as pointed out by CV5, you must properly interpret what is in 2 Peter and in Jude about the angels who kept not their first estate. Angels are always called "sons of God" in the OT, but the saints are never called that in the OT.

Apparently, according to your exegesis of Genesis 6, The angel Gabriel must have had sex with Mary.

Luke 1:28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

Joseph came in unto Pharaoh (Gen. 41:14), Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, (Ex. 10:3), Paul received all who came in unto him. (Acts 28:30)

Or maybe "came in unto" does not always mean having sex with. Maybe entering the room a person is in could be what "coming in unto" sometimes means. Maybe demons taking up residence in human bodies, as seven demons did to Mary Magdalene, could be described as "coming in unto" those people. The case for demons having sex with humans is biblically very weak. More likely demons approached the women and offered to supernaturally upgrade their children's talents and powers, if they would worship the demons and allow them to live inside them.

It is written that with God there is no male nor female. It is also written that He is Spirit, and would to be worshipped in Spirit and Truth. We are taught that we are made in His image,, niether men nor women are excluded. I understaand this very basic teaching by that wonderful gift of faith, and I would like to think most understand the same. All these objections have been asked and answered several times in this thread. Naturally I wouldn't expect someone to read 750+ comments, so I'll reiterate from post #32.
But the idea that God, or the angels are ONLY Spirit is Scripturally easy to refute. Jesus is God. He ate and drank, was able to be touched, and was in a physical body before AND after His Resurrection.

Angels also are recorded to have eaten, drank, and were touched, (see the whole Sodom and Gomorrah account). Also, Scripture tells us that WE may have entertained angels unaware. WE, are also spirit and flesh. Now read about the bodies angels that fell had, that they gave up to have sex with human women.

But I want to address one of the supposedly big points the “sons of God in Genesis 6 are human” crowd like to bring up this verse:

This verse actually supports that the Angels had sex and procreated with human women.

In fact, this is the exact reason why they are in chains in Tartarus right now.

Jude 6 And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; 7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Here Jude tells us these angels left their own “abode, or habitation” . They abandoned their heavenly bodies. The Greek word is “Oiketerion” .

This word is used only one other time in Scripture describing the heavenly body WE will receive upon our resurrection to be like the Angels IN HEAVEN.

2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation (oiketerion) which is from heaven,

About as conclusive as you can get.

The sin the angels committed was of a sexual nature, NOT involving their heavenly bodies, NOT committed IN HEAVEN, resulting in imprisonment in the horrible place called Tartarus.

I won't argue with you, but I will point you to the genealogies in Genesis 3 and 5 that show the two lines from Adam through Cain and from Adam through Seth to Noah. Then, I'll say that the "sons of God" and "the daughters of men" are the people who mixed together the believing and unbelieving lineages to corrupt the earth.
