Hello again Sean (@seantspence), the following (short) article concerns church history and historic theology, and it may be of interest to you (as well some of the additional articles listed at the bottom of the page if you'd care to investigate further :)).

~What is a Protestant? | GotQuestions.org
"A Protestant is a Christian who belongs to one of the many branches of Christianity that have developed out of the Protestant Reformation started by Martin Luther in 1517. "
God bless you!!

It all makes sense now. My step mother calls me a fake Christian cause she was raised Catholic, even though she taught unbiblical things such as works for salvation. Light bulb! Thanks for the read!

If you're into reading biographies, I suggest grabbing one about Martin Luther if you ever get a chance. I found his life story to be a rewarding read. I need to read it again myself.
My brain is still exhausted. I may have to wait until another time to either read, watch or listen to a Martin Luther biography.

This is a common misconception. The suffering God may allow us to experience is not about our strength, but to teach us to turn our burdens over to God.
And while it's true it may also strengthen us, but God absolutely will give you more than you can handle, and when you put your trust in God He'll help to shoulder some of those burdens, as well as send a comforter.

As far as a demonic month? No.
Fall is my favorite time of year, followed by winter. If you're having any thoughts otherwise it may be linked to something in your past. Or if you're on psych meds it may be stemming from that. Or even stemming from whatever condition they're giving you the meds for.
Sometimes we get an idea in our heads and begin looking for things to test if it's true or not. And that's when we focus on everything that confirms our suspicions. But we don't test anything outside of that.
So in your case you are more like to notice and add up problems in Oct, but every other month you don't. And therefore get a skewed view.
My strength definitely died down this afternoon and I had to turn on worship music just to feel okay again. Currently just relaxing and listening, cause I feel incapable from my own strength. I must have thought it was of my power earlier but I was wrong.

Hello yet again Sean (@seantspence), here's a short (audio) teaching series (21 minutes long) that I believe you will ~truly~ enjoy (and that you will learn a LOT about church history from, especially about the Reformation :)). And right off the bat, Dr. Sproul begins talking about All Hallows Eve as well, just FYI.
And if you like Part 1 of this teaching series (and I believe that you will), you will, no doubt, want to listen to Part 2 (of this two-part teaching series) as well :)
If you listen to these, you will probably blow your step-mother's mind with all that you know (and, on a more serious note, also be better able to help her understand what the truth really is).

Enjoy :)

God bless you!!

Thank you for sharing. I just listened to both of them. What a good find. I guess that kind of sums up the Martin Luther biography that I eventually going to find. What a good quick 42 minute listen. I posted them on Facebook for anyone interested in watching, trying to gather mainly those who identify with the Catholic faith. We’ll see what happens.

The colours are fabulous. I had that in mind with this panel:

From Romans 6:19-21 You used to offer your body in slavery to impurity and to escalating wickedness when you were slaves to sin. What fruit did you reap at that time from the things of which you are now ashamed? The outcome of those things is death.
just today, my wife & i enjoyed the day in the adirondack mountains. such scenic scintillating scenes. went to a bunch of garage sales & bought some antiques. we dined a great lunch at the brown swan in "the lodge " in schroon lake.
