So....
Do you like reading?
Read a lot of books?
Where do you get them when you do buy books?
Do you prefer E-Books or paper?
if it's an instructional reference type book which format do you prefer?

And the Biggest question of them all:
WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

Last I heard about brain rot was that it came from watching certain types of TikTok videos .:geek:

Apparently those types of videos are very popular with teens.

I have been getting books from book drops. I found Three Day Road that way. Awesome read. So was Coyote Blue. One of my co-workers always has a book on the go. We are often in the lunch room together, so I check them out and have read a few of those, also, and supplied books to her. For instance, she was reading a book by Ken Follet I'd never heard of. I borrowed it and read it and then lent her his Pillars of The Earth and World Without End, which were both vastly superior. My sister has also recommended books to me. When I had my Kindle handy (it's still around here somewhere, heh) my daughter had put hundreds of books on it for me. I read too many of them LOL

Do you prefer E-Books or paper?
I prefer paper, but my Kindle Paperwhite had some neat features, like built-in dictionaries and able to connect to wiki.

Anybody ever been a "Beta Reader" for an aspiring author before?

I’ve heard social media causes brain rot. I’m not sure if Christian Chat qualifies as social media but probably.

These days mostly I read three things.

1. This forum.
2. Two Skype chat rooms.
3. People's eyes.

i read a lot in the winter & it's real books. i get all my books for free, from hauling junk for people as a portion of my business. subjects i read the most are: the Bible, other Bible literature, antique books, science, local history, world history & coin books.
