- In 1920, the Haganah - a paramilitary group - was formed to defend the Zionists who had already migrated to Palestine. So for 28 years, this military gained experience. This was 13 years before 1933.

- In 1947 the Haganah acquired "10,489 rifles, 702 light machine-guns, 2,666 submachine guns, 186 medium machine-guns, 672 two-inch mortars and 92 three-inch (76 mm) mortars". They then purchased three B-17 bombers, and dozens of half-tracks from the USA, which were repainted and labeled as "agricultural equipment". In Western Europe, they acquired ten H-35 light tanks, even more half-tracks, and two Cromwell tanks.

For about the last 150 years, we've been living in the dispensation of willful ignorance. Maybe we should call it, the Dunning Kruger Dispensation.
