One VERY important aspect of ministry to always keep in the forefront of your mind is the necessity and power of prayer. It is not simply to lift others in prayer for their situations, yet also to be mindful that while doing your part to minister and doing your part in the day to day, Pastoring necessitates a consistant and ever present mind to pray, pray, pray. Doing so does lift others in prayer towards God, however, it is also one of the simplist ways in which to unload the mental, emotional, and spiritual burden upon God and ask Him to extend to you the peace which comes from giving those day to day issues of your and others to Him. So that you are not overwhelmed and God is able to work out those issues and concerns while keeping you (the Pastor) free from them to be the open and willing vessel to be used for the Kingdom.

Yes, is awesome, glorious and the experience is amazing even though it may look hard, tough, and could be discouraging especially when no one believes in you because of your present situations but my favourite scripture has been 1Thessalonians 5:24. Faithful is He that called you...

A Sheppard needs sheep… so a pastor nerds members. A pastor also needs to eat … pay mortgage and pay off his seminary school loans which maybe be multiple thousands.

I pray the Holy Wind (Spirit) of the Lord will blow the sinners into your congregation.

Prayer is the single most important aspect in the life of the believer.
I can't imagine any sincere believer called to be a pastor that would not devote as much time possible to fervent effectual prayer and fasting.
Leonard Ravenhill stated that no man is greater than his prayer life. He was absolutely correct. And so are you.
