: a religion developed among the ancient Hebrews and characterized by belief in one transcendent God who has revealed himself to Abraham, Moses, and the Hebrew prophets and by a religious life in accordance with Scriptures and rabbinic traditions
Just nonsense. Rabbinic tradition takes precedence over the word of God in Judaism

My issue is that the religion of the pharisees, ie, Judaism, is not the religion of Moses. Do you disagree? Jews just means followers of the pharisees' religion; Ancient Israelites were followers of Moses
Jews AT THE TIME OF JESUS... were under the Pharisees. Corruption had seeped in.

Jesus stood before the Jews showing them how real Judaism was to function.
Jesus was teaching true Judaism.

Jesus was not teaching Christianity. Many fail to see that.

The Lord later raised up Paul to show how Christianity is to function.

Now I rejoice in what I am suffering for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking
in regard to Christ’s afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church. I have become
its servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness—
the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the
Lord’s people.
To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious
riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." Colossians 1:24-27

Jesus came teaching true Judaism.

Jesus was not teaching Christianity.
For no new creations in Christ were yet existing!

I would disagree, the Pharisees were the legalists and placed an emphasis on the
law, the temple and the rites involved in the temple. Paul was formerly a Pharisee and
had a very strong understanding of the Old Testament. That is obvious when reading
Romans and Galatians.

Paul knew the law very well and more than likely could recite the law.

Paul would have been a leading example of Judaism.

The law was delivered through Moses.

Moses was the judge of the law for a period of time also and Moses was a legalist in the
extreme.

I mentioned having struggles with my health?
Not really, other I am sometimes allergic to getting older. :)

My parents were second generation American who's parents came from Austria in the 1890's.
I have been told that I do have some of their traits.

I am learning that some do not like a direct approach..
I will give you some good advice I received a long time ago.

What ever you do in life do not get old.

Old age will kill you.

Don't get old!!!!

in modern Judaism, certainly. but the NT is the true continuation of real Judaism, as defined by everyone but you lol - not the talmud.

the mishnah etc. wasn't written until much much later, and begins with a question of when to recite the shema, and three different rabbis giving three contradictory answers.
Mark on the other hand begins with saying, this is the fulfillment of the prophecy given in Malachi.

Moses can no longer be followed because there is no temple. so the Jews had only two choices - accept the Messiah or make up a whole new religion: and today we have two different kinds of religious Jews, Messianic ones and ones who have completely exchanged scripture for a mishmash of traditions made up out of whole cloth, out of adoption from the Canaanites around them, and out of varying interpretations of the OT that avoid the Christology when there is symbolic meaning, and that avoid any literal sense when it has to do with the things they need a temple for.

wut? What do think Judaism is now?

Now don't count. This is the church age. It was the age of the Jews when Jesus walked the earth.

Right now racial Jews are scattered all over the world.
Jesus is preserving the Jewish race so at the right time He can raise up regenerate JEWS.
That will happen after the Rapture.
They will see the fulfillment of the promise of the new heavens and earth with their Messiah on His throne in Jerusalem.

As for the Church? Christians who prove themselves faithful will reign with Christ in the new heavens and new earth.

Many don't see it because it"s not true. There is only one gospel
Someday you may get it....

There were no Christians on earth prior to Pentecost.
Jesus did not come teaching about how to walk in the Spirit to control the sin nature.

Honestly, I don't have one
Therein lies the problem here. The issue is not necessarily that we disagree, but rather that you are speaking one language and we are speaking another, and we’re arguing about the usage of words that differ across the linguistic divide.

Or, in short, stop criticizing others for speaking a different language. You aren’t going to convince anyone that your non-existent word is somehow more accurate than our actual word.

perhaps look at it this way, that He came teaching the Judaism He had instructed Moses and the prophets to teach, and in doing so inviting us to become Christians.

remember the rich young ((most likely pharisee)) man who came to Him and said he had kept all the commandments and wanted to know how to inherit life?
Jesus looked at him and loved him. Jesus loves us all, but why isn't this written about everyone? this man followed the Judaism of Moses as well as he could, but knew it was not enough to grant him eternal life - and he knew Jesus could give him the answer, the true Way.

in a sense he understood that Christ came teaching Judaism ((the true Judaism of Moses)) and inviting us to become Christian, following Him. He did not contradict his statement that he had perfectly kept the Law, but still told the man, "there is still something you lack"

as Paul explains to us in Romans, God came to propose to us a marriage. He makes His estranged wife Israel, who could not attain righteousness by law, jealous with us, who are given righteousness by faith.
He came to betroth us to Himself - and Christianity is walking in that state of betrothal.

so yes, teaching the estranged wife how she should have been faithful, not how to be His betrothed bride while those He was speaking to had not accepted His proposal of marriage. He taught them to repent, and return to Him, so He could heal them.
how to walk as His betrothed? this comes after the proposal is accepted: after He rose, and gave us gifts, and His Spirit, and departed to prepare for the the day of the wedding feast.

Christian is an endearing term meaning little Christ. Any godly Israelite would have loved to have been called that.

G5546 Χριστιανός Christianos (chriy-stiy-a-nos') n/g.
1. (literally, familial) “Little Anointed” (as family name of endearment, like “Little Johnny” or “Little Susie”).
2. (properly, only of the redeemed) a Little Kinsman of Anointed-One (a relative by the redemptive blood of the Messiah, also called Christ).

Jesus did not come teaching about how to walk in the Spirit to control the sin nature.
lol wut? 'Moses said don't so this and don't do that, but I say unto thee, Guard and control your very thoughts."

Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. Matthew 5:21-22

Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. Matthew 5:27-30

Jesus was not inviting the Jews to become Christians.
He came to stomp on the shamefulness of Pharisaical legalism, and to reveal how when Judaism,
when it is correctly followed, was honorable.. in a world engulfed in hedonistic paganism.

First, he wanted to set the record straight about Judaism... and, its what got him crucified!

It was like recently how the degenerate socialists tried to assassinate Donald Trump for his wanting to restore the United states
to what the Constitution and proper executive action would manifest.

In a sense, it was a failed crucifixion attempt.

What the socialist Democrats want to do to the Constitutional Republic of the USA,
is like what the Pharisees were doing to the Law of Moses.
