The Bible says many are called but few are chosen.God calls us first because He knows the condition of our heart, for we are the ones who have to make a move to do what is right, and then He chooses us if we live up to that calling.
God only chooses us after He calls us because we decide to do what is right,so the condition of our heart has to start with us before God calls us and then chooses us.
God calls us first, not chooses us first,so that calling is to see if we can continue in what we started by wanting what is good, and then if we continue in that wanting to do what is right, and live up to doing what is right required of us,then He chooses us.
So God calls us first, not chooses us first, and then He works with us to become right with Him,then He chooses us if we live up to that calling, for not everyone lives up to that calling to be chosen.
When a person stops in their life and takes a breather and says,I want to do what is right and be a good person, and want the truth of life, and I will seek it,and I believe there is a God for that makes sense to me,and want Him to reveal to me the truth,or anything along that line, even if they do not know the Bible, that is when God will start working with them to reveal truth to them and will call them, and when they acknowledge Jesus and the Bible,if they come to the truth of it,and abide in it,then God will chooses them.
God calls us first before He chooses, not chooses us first.
The Bible says what will you do in the day of visitation, which means God visits everybody to cause them to think about doing right, but what they do with that is up to them,so the truth is that God visits everybody to cause them to think about the truth, and then those that continue wanting to do what is right,God will then call them, and then if they come to the truth and want that truth,God will choose them.
God does not choose first, but calls first.
God did choose, but the people He called did not know the truth, for if they knew the truth, they would be chosen first, but nobody knows the truth right off the get go,so God has to call first, because He knows their heart that they want to do right, and then He chooses after they come to the truth and want that truth.
So when the Bible says that we did not choose God but He chose us,it does not mean that God chose us before we were born, and we have no choice but to follow Him,but it means that nobody knows the truth right off the bat,so they do not know God and His truth, but when they decide to want to do right, and follow God,although they do not know Him in truth, then God will work with them and choose them later.
How can we choose God first when nobody knows God in the truth, for even if you say I believe in God,you still have not chosen Him,for you do not know Him in the truth,to choose the real God,until you want to follow God and want the truth, then God will call you,and choose you later.
We did not choose God but He chose us,does not mean that God chose us at the beginning, and we have no choice but to follow Him,but means nobody knows the truth right off the bat,to be able to choose God first, nobody, but when that person believes there is a God and wants the truth, for creation testifies there is a God,and that He is good, wise, and powerful,or whatever witness, then they want to strive to be good and know the truth, then God will call them, and then choose them.
God does not choose first but calls us first, which has to be for nobody knows the real God right off the bat so how can He choose you seeing you lack the truth, and then later He chooses you.
And another thing,if people are chosen in the beginning to follow God,and have no choice about it,then why are they born sinners, and why do they not know God when growing up,but have to learn about the truth, and come to the truth. The person who says they are predestined knows as little as the person they say is not predestined, and why is that seeing they were chosen beforehand, they should automatically know the truth when born, and why do they have to learn if they were chosen beforehand.
Wouldn't they know the truth as soon as they are born, for they were chosen beforehand to follow God with no choice about it.
If they were predestined in the beginning to be saved, they having no choice about it,that would mean that they would be in the truth right then in the beginning to be chosen, then why are they born not knowing the truth but have to come to the truth, and are born sinners like the people they say are not predestined.
And if everybody is a sinner falling short of the glory of God,and all sin is unrighteousness with God,and there is none that does good,no not one,and everybody's righteousness is as filthy rags, and if you offend in one law you broke the whole law, then how are the people predestined any different from the ones that are not predestined, seeing all are the same in filthiness and unrighteousness. The ones predestined are no better than the ones that are not predestined, for all people are sinners and unrighteous.
That would be like taking 10 people who are the same,no one better than the next and saying, five of
you are going to live forever, and 5 of you are going to die eternally and suffer, but what determined that seeing they are all equally the same. All are sinners and fall short of the glory of God,so how are the predestined ones better than the non predestined ones to find favor with God.
And not only that but all have fallen short of the glory of God,so how did the ones predestined fall short of the glory of God,for if they were chosen in the beginning to be saved, they would have the glory of God shine on them throughout their life,so how did they fall short of it,and how did they fall out of favor with God,if they were chosen in the beginning.
Did God say,I'm going to allow billions of people to be born on the planet, who are all born sinners, and fall short of My glory, who are in the same boat and equal with each other, but I'm going to allow only so much to be saved, who I will choose in the beginning to be saved, for heaven can only hold so much people so they all cannot be saved,so some of them I will not even allow the choice to be saved, but I will cause them to go through problems, and suffering, and be mad at them for not choosing to be saved, even though I caused them to not be able to choose to be saved.
You mean God is going to punish people because they choose not to follow God,when God in the beginning caused them not to be able to choose God,so they can do nothing about it.
Am I going to program my computer to say I hate you jerk, and then get mad at the computer and destroy it,when the computer has no choice but to say that, and has no other option.
The Lamb takes away the sins of the world.Apparently not, only takes away the sins of the predestined, and if He takes away the sins of the world, why don't some people get to choose that, but He takes away the sins of the world so all can be saved.
Jesus preached for all people to repent of their sins.Apparently not,but only the predestined can repent.
God said He does not want any person to perish, but all come to repentance and be saved.Apparently not,but only the predestined.
The Lamb was slain from the foundation of the world(Revelation 13:8),although it did not happen until 4000 years later. If it is a plan of God to happen in the future, then it is the same as if it happened in the beginning.
The Lamb slain is a future event that happened 4000 years after the creation of the world, but it is the same as if it happened in the beginning, for God calls things that have not yet happened,as though they already happened.
God had the plan to give us His human body in the beginning,by the coming of Jesus, which is a future event 400 years after creation, and since it is a plan of God to happen in the future,it is the same as if it happened in the beginning.
The Lamb was predestined to give us His human body in the beginning, but it did not happen until 4000 years later.
God had the plan to give mankind salvation in the beginning,by the coming of Jesus, which is a future event 4000 years after creation, and all those who choose to follow Jesus become saints,so it is the same as if they have salvation in the beginning.
The saints are predestined to salvation in the beginning,by the coming of Jesus, which is a future event, for all those who choose to follow Jesus,so it is the same as if they have salvation in the beginning.
Not God chooses who will be saved and not be saved, without their input.I would never believe such a blasphemous thing about God,for God is not evil.
If somebody said God chooses who will be saved and who will not be saved in the beginning, because He knows in the future who will choose to do right and who will choose to do wrong, then it would be the person making the choice to do right or do wrong, and God knew about it beforehand to choose them or not choose them.
But predestination, how they believe it,says that God chooses who will be saved and who will not be saved, and they have no choice about it,but will either follow or reject the truth, which God is not evil.
That would be like someone having a dog that has 6 puppies, and saying 3 of you can stay, but 3 of you have to go,and then bash them in the head, but what did the puppies do wrong.
Why would God be mad at people for rejecting the truth, when they have no choice but to reject the truth, seeing no other option. There would be nothing else they could see but to reject the truth from the beginning of their life to the end,but what did they do wrong,it would be God that did it to them.God is not stupid,or a tyrant.
