“The Lord bless you and keep you;

the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you;

the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”

Let’s discuss.

I don't know about "claiming" it, but you may certainly look in the mirror and read it over yourself. It sounds a bit corny, but it really is no different than praying it for someone else. If you feel uncomfortable, add the word "May" at the start of each statement... that's the gist of it anyway.

This is one of several "ritual" prayers in Scripture that you can add to your daily routine. Another is Ephesians 6:10-18, where you prayerfully put on the armour of God. Of course, there is the Lord's prayer.

Actually , I don’t think it’s corny at all… I often pray this for myself and my family….. good idea adding “May…

Belief to God alone in risen Son for you between God and you personally, no matter what troubles you might go through, will you? Jesus did that
Asked for any other way, and ended that prayer to Father with Nevertheless not my will but your will Father be done not mine
Stand therefore stand, even if it takes a lifetime to see it, stand As in Col. 1:21 -23

I like that.... but your will Father be done not mine.. I'm going to incorporate that in my supplication.

Amen, sealed in truth to see the whole truth for you personally too
Accepted, forgiven and sealed to see it, even if in adversities
