Nah, they never have any really good candy after Halloween. Halloween candy is made to give away, so it's only the cheap stuff.

I used to be really big on after Christmas candy sale. But these days they don't even make really good Christmas candy anymore.

Sometimes you can score dark chocolate truffles at an after Valentine's Day sale. But even that is rare now.
Maybe this is one of the advantages of living in a slightly bigger area. We have the same set of about 3 different franchised grocery stores 30 minutes away in any direction. So if one store doesn't have a good variety of leftovers, the next 6 are bound to have something...

When was the last good candy holiday... Easter?

I've been noticing, in this area at least, the leftovers are usually what's perceived as more expensive, since everyone is on such a tight budget.

One store had a ton of Dove chocolates left, and another store had a lot of Lindt.

my wal-mart has tons of stuff every year and if you get there early you can get something decent.
and grocery outlet things get cheaper and cheaper. i once waited about. year and something 10 bucks went down to 50 cents.

I would want to see or hear nothing about haloween, a pagan festival.
I pray God leads all those who are still blind to this evil into the light.

No, I put my answer in this thread in response to the words halloween,
as far as am concerned it is right to call it out for what it is to the person
who posted about it.
Not interested in full thread discussing it, find it very wrong that it is
allowed in a so called Christian Chat forum.
How do you feel about the Jewish holiday of Purim?

Ooooh... You're one of those. That's unfortunate.

People who call other people so-called Christians never seem to last long on this forum.

Well, been nice knowing you.

I asked for my account to be removed after joining,
I read a few articles and this place is not for me, waiting on
the big day to come when am removed, calling out evil until then.
Pray that day is soon, thanks.

Never heard of it. If it is evil I don't want to either.

Am going to miss you, like a hole in the head.
Hey now, some of those holes you need. Eyes, ears, mouth, nose... Those are very useful holes in your head.
