My take:

To include Revelation 19 what I see happening is as follows:

The multitude in heaven is happy singing and rejoicing because the great harlot has been judged. Following this comes the marriage supper of the lamb, the wife has made herself ready. So.... The multitude is not on earth,but in heaven. She (the wife) is given fine linen. I believe this multitude is the raptured church that was secure during the judgment of the harlot.
Next: Heaven opens!! Christ returns to earth. This happens AFTER the marriage supper of the Lamb. He is followed by his army. He comes to strike the nations and rule with a rod of iron. Followed is the supper of the great God. NOW the beast and fp are thrown in the lake of fire. The birds are summoned to eat the flesh of the rest of those defeated by the sword of Him who sat on the white horse. Now if we look at this in sequence, we go on to Rev. 20 and Guess what...satan is now bound and thrown into the bottomless pit. This binding takes place AFTER the fp and beast are dealt with. ALL THIS HAPPENS AFTER Christs return. There cannot be a binding of satan before Jesus returns.
As to the 1000 years, i believe it is a time WITH Christ as ruler amongst us visibly and without any evil because those that caused evil have been removed. ( in 2 separate places). It is clear in verse 7 that this special period of time without evil will expire. It is not a permanent time. It cannot be current because Jesus has not returned yet.

That is my take for now.

a thousand years is a figurative term. it is not literal, nor can it be: for either amillennialism or millennialism.

I could do a critique on the sources and websites you've recommended. I've found some scientific and logical inconsistencies in some of their sermons but have found some parts interesting and I think is true.

I also think you have labeled me since I first got here with things I never believed or even thought about but you like to continue saying I believe so you can feel self-justified.

I admit that I did not understand a lot of the Bible since there were alot of different views on the subject and I thank you for the recommendation and the websites about church history but that is not what convinced me of my beliefs but more reading the Bible and seeing how it all works together to reveal the Truth of the world and God's word and His divine plan.

I find your attitude at times abrasive and arrogant, asumming things about others that are not true.

I have learned alot from people on this site and I thank everyone for it. I have enjoyed the sermons from Phil Johnson, Ravenhill, EM Bounds, Spurgeon, and other recommended sermons from people from this site.

I enjoy some of Chris' programs but others I find a lot of false statements embedded in them. they are useful in avoiding trigger words that offend the reform and Lutherans on site.

I don't believe in gambling and if I was to place my "bet" on anything it would be FAITH in JESUS. I am not "a lukewarm fencesitter" but I am willing to admit when I do not know what the topic being discussed and reading both sides of the argument until I decide which one is most logical and Biblical. If that is "hedging my bets" then yes I do actually approach each subject with the idea that both sides have reasons for their beliefs and I would like to learn what each says.

Then yes I take a position and I have never claimed to have discovered it myself. I've read over 50 websites and listened to countless sermons on BOTH sides of this conversation. I could compile a "sources cited" thread when I have the time but how many people would actually read all of them?
